I am limiting myself, honest! And doing any long spells earlier in the day than I used to! Anyway, he only knows how to find his way here, doesn't see where else I'm working my way round to ...Edinburghlass wrote:Savvy_Sue are you supposed to be on here half the day?? Hello Savvy_Sue
It's good to see you're back at home and getting better. Thanks for the news updates to you and Mr SS.

The photographic evidence mentioned earlier is now on our website, here. In my defence, the only ORIGINAL pink items are the blouse (which isn't completely pink, as you can see) and the baseball cap, originally unadorned. OK, the cap is a crime against fashion, but it is practical - you can't see that it has a lovely long brim, and I really don't do sun!
My DH continues to make occasional updates on my general progress here - there's a fuller account of the summary below there.
Yesterday I went to Sainsbury's, one stop on the little local train, with my son. This would have worked, except I was a) overtired through staying up too late the night before on MSE
b) determined to buy our own body mass in fresh fruit because the steroids I'm on make me RAVENOUSLY hungry c) really in need of another boy to help! Still, a couple of hours in bed later and I felt almost human again. And I didn't come and see you all here yesterday AT ALL. And missed you. Got to go now - need to dress before a visitor arrives! oooh and is that your personal ioniser thingy you're wearing there?
very fetching.
is it as heavy as it looks? and is it still working?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Yes! well spotted, that is my very own personal ioniser thingy, you can't see it glowing but I might have had it switched off at that point, because we had been outside in the shade so I wasn't too hot or stressed!pavlovs_dog wrote:oooh and is that your personal ioniser thingy you're wearing there?

No, it's not heavy at all, very light, I forget I'm wearing it! Yes it's still working although we had to replace the battery which cost more than the original ioniser. And I still swear by it on horrible muggy days!pavlovs_dog wrote:is it as heavy as it looks? and is it still working?Signature removed for peace of mind0
