If its any help Loublue, I put my sprinkles on after the choccies had set. I used the glitter tube as a 'glue' and sprinkled the h&t on top. Lot easier.

I only came across this thread today and think that the choccy hearts are lovely. As I don't have a heart shaped mould I decided to get creative!
I made the mould out of an empty beer box and lined it with cling film. Filled with melted dark chocolate and bunged some nuts on (was all I could find!)
Thank you for the idea peeps, and those of you with no moulds - go make one!Proud to be a Clob Clubber :beer:0 -
Oh yes, sorry, I forgot (durr!) Its an icing glitter, maybe you could try your icing as a glue?I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0

Right well did my chocolate for my gf today.
It came out well. I tempered the chocolate and it looks great! Cant wait to taste it.
I went a little over board with the icing  But I had a tube of it to use up, dont want to waste it.
The chocolate button at the bottom had rice crispies in it. As we both love the crunch bars you can buy I wanted to try this. I Hope it will be nice!!!!

Roll on easter, might get some choc that you dont have to temper!JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
Hi Jeremy!
My boyfriend and I also love chocolate crunchie cripsy type bars so I added rice crispies to mine too and it was delicious! (I tried a few last night) The rest are setting in the fridge so will post pics in under an hour hopefully.
I love the swirly affect your chocolate has.
Well done everyone! Everything looks fantastic!0 -
I think that effect might be called a bloom but I like it. Or it might have been cause as I poured the choc onto the tinfoil.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090

I have taken pics with my webcam on my laptop (don't have a camera- it broke!) and I've tried to attach them (they are saved as a file, or can be found in photobooth..) but when I click on insert image it just asks for a URL. I have no idea what to do! :S0

Wow, some really great results on here!
I'm curious... where did you all manage to get the mini-marshmellows? I looked in Somerfield, Morrisons, Instore and Woolworths about a month ago and couldn't find any, so gave up. I was making a hot-chocolate gift mug for my mum.0
