Sorry it was Halifax. Seems to have been a new batch so I would try your local branch again. The cat Iams goes much quicker than the dog stuff.

They also had 750gm Perfect Active chicken for £1.49 about half price I think

Impossi-doku - 49p (Crossgates - Leeds) a rubiks cube style puzzle, the aim is to arrange it so all faces display 1-9 in order.

Also not sure if I mentioned the Armorall hi shine paste wax at 99p (claims an RRP of £7.99), seems to be a decent wax for 99p.

Brilliant, just brilliant! Yes went over to Telford this morn and had the last two bags of Iams off the shelf (a bit daft the shelf it was on had space for about 6 bags!)! Also got four of the Perfect Active - this is £4.28 in Tesco !

Loads of the Chapmans Cider still available but the store was heaving and as usual there was a shortage of trolleys so I had to struggle with a basket and buy less that I would otherwise. How dumb are they?

3Kg packs of Iams for cats £2.99. Can be up to £12.99 in supermarkets. Dated Feb 2008

Roughly how many servings are in a 3kg bag? We have three cats and feed them a wet food morning and night and dry in the middle of the day. As you can imagine we get through a lot of cat food, at the moment £1.88 for 6 cans so I am wondering how Iams compares.

The Iams is dry and 3 Kg lasts for around a month with our 4 cats. It is one food they never seem to tire of.

3Kg is about three to four times the large cardboard box weight (say Brekkies or Go cat.) and rrp is £14.99
