just had to do a search to find this thread as i wanted to see what bargains were to be had at the moment to see if it's worth a trip to town, notice there has been no action for over a week, is there really nothing going on at HB at present?
  • I`ve not been in for a bit - might ave to make a trip that way 2moz and i`ll report back if i find anything worth having
  • Was in the Preston store yesterday and picked up a bottle of Bio Oil for £4.99 and it is usually about £10-odd in Boots etc. Don't know if it is in every branch but I can't see why not. A lady behind me in the queue was astonished and a bit annoyed as she had paid £10-something a couple of days before. Used it last night on my face and I could swear the wrinkles faded immediately!
  • Love this shop, been in coulby newham today and got a 24 box of coca cola for 3.99(rrp 6.95) + a lavender heat pad,one with beans in for 99p rrp @7.00,I am just about to warm it up and take it to bed.
    sweet dreams everyone

Bio-oil? Isn't that the stuff recycled out of the old cooking oil from chippies - the stuff that some people put into their fuel tank instead of diesel??

  • I picked up a Yardley Lily of the Valley gift set for £2.99 at the Preston store - it originally came from Boots as it had one of their green Christmas stickers on it.
  • Have noticed in a couple of local HBs Garnier total care moisturisers (day and night ) for £1.50 ,great buy as these normally retail for £5.99 + .
Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!
  • They had hamster cages (flat packed) with wheel bottle food dish and pipe thingy winding out of the cage and running back into it.

Just £5.99 - bargin as most similar sets cost anything of £10 upwards
