This is lovely stuff. Not too gassy but very refreshing. Also had smaller bottles (330ml) which worked out slightly better value (think they were 39p) but had already put lots of the pint ones in the trolley!

I bought the Encona sauces & they are superb (the hot pepper is feisty!) and they also had the Schwartz shakers but I bought "Jerk" instead. This was at the Rugeley store but why oh why don't they sell some of this lovely booze you all talk about..?

They may not yet have a license to sell alcohol. My nearest store (Crossgates) did not sell alcohol when it first opened. They have some peculiar rule of not supplying any more than a certain amount to those under 21 and I was asked for ID once even though I was 26 at the time.

in sale they had the spices, snickers bars and shampoo for blondes for 19pence, cant remember the make but it was a well known one

Got a pack of Intuition ladies razor refills for 99p!! If you buy these you will know that they are £5+ in Boots or Supadrug, so a real bargain. I stocked up. The cashier said that they usually have the razors in too which have 2 refills in with them for 99p but they didn't have any in. The refills were behind the till with the perfumes.

Fuzzy Felt Anniversary Tins at our local HB for £2.99 - really lovely looking sets, great to put away for christmas I'd think. They had a general tin, and a 'laminated' My Little Pony version.

Many thanks for the heads up on the cider! Went to the Hillsborough (Sheffield) store today and all the pint bottles had been snaffled but they had absolutely loads of the 330ml bottle sleft at 39p. As you say, these actually work out cheaper than the pint bottles (67p/pint!). Bought 30 (there were still 100s left on the shelf so don't think I was being greedy) as we are going away with friends for a few days in a caravan so thought we'd stock up - cheaper than the pub by a country mile!

PS Had to open one for research purposes and you are right, it's lovely stuff!
