Sounds like something Twink would do so she could blow hot air in your ear about her rock climbing prowess.
Made a pineapple & coconut cobbler for pudding with custard tonight. It was pretty yummy. When I was going through my recipe book Haribo I saw I had already cut out the Lumberjack Cake. It says in mine, it stems from a canadian recipe.
LTS The dummy isn't as hard as you think. DGS got his taken off him around 1 years old & his bottle around 1 1/2 years. He never even missed both. He's 2 1/2 now too.

Morning everyone.
The wind has finally stopped blowing a gale but I still haven't opened my curtains yet. It's so snug with all the lamps on and that lovely golden hue they give off in the room.
DH and DS1 off out this morning and DS2 not so well in bed, so I'm staying in to watch over him. Not sure if he's gone down with a bug but he was asleep for 7pm last night and still is asleep; that's just not like him.
Roast chicken with all the trimmings today for dinner and going to do some baking for my new chest freezer as it's not very OS having it sat there with just 3 loaves of bread in it!
Cleaned all downstairs thoroughly yesterday so just my bedroom to do today and clear off last of ironing.

Morning all,
Haven't posted for a while as I went back to work last wednesday.
I am still on crutches and have an Air Cast on. They seem to think that I have definately damaged a tendon in my foot, so am waiting now on an ultra sound scan, then possibly surgery.
It is pouring with rain and very windy. I am going to do the ironing this morning with my bargain Philips steam generator iron. Got it from a scout fete for £40 brand new as the guy works for Philips:D , looked in the Argos and the exact same one is £180:eek:
Managed to blag sunday dinner at the MIL's, so this afternnoon will de chilling with a DVD waiting for DD to come back from her dads.

House is lovely clean and tidy, OH couldnt sleep and got up at 4 & started cleaning, Ive just to swish the bathrooms and its all done! Will have a quick surf then start ironing - quite a lot to do.
We also will have a late lunch due to football, DS kick off is at 12 but its a home so just got to walk across the road.
SCD was good last night but I desperatly hope that Kate goes tonight, Kenny is bad as well but is much more entertaining.
Need to persuade DD to do some homework today, she has a big Geography assignment - I can help on most things but that subject was one I hated at school.
Best be off now - OH has made me feel quilty.

Hope everyone is ok.
Off to finish the xmas shopping with DH in a little while, DD is being looked after by her grandad and nanny (my dad and his partner). I have my list so I'm prepared only thing is I dont think my arms are going to like not having the buggy with me.
Tea is going to be a piece of brisket done in the slow cooker. Going to prepare the veg in a minute so I'll just have to cook it when we get in.

Morning everyone :hello:
Had a lie in this morning which was bliss and have only made it a far a the kitchen to make coffee and now I'm back in bed.
Have a busy day ahead as I need to make a start on all the things I want to make.....Hopefully by later I should have tomato chutney, lemon curd, picalilli and some more strawberry jam. FIL is bringing the girls back at about 3pm and staying for a meal. I'm doing stuffed pork fillet which should be quick and easy. Then FIL and OH are away to a conference. Leaving tonight and not back until Tuesday (would insert jumping in the air smiley here but am too scared he'll spot it.);)
So a quiet night with the girls planned and they have an in service day tommorow so we will do something nice together depending on the weather.
Sorry to hear about you foot SmashingBlouse

Morning Everyone its been a while since I posted but have been carrying on the OS way!
This week I ditched the supermarket and got fruit, veg and meat from the village. Yesterday I made my first ever spag bol from scratch which the kids loved (I know its bad to have reached the age of 24 and never done this before!)
My Nan is coming over shortly for an hour or so and then having an ironing day.
Hugs to all that need them.

Good morning everyone,
It's a horrible, cold wet day here today, I'm soooooo glad I'm not going out today.
I didn't post yesterday as I rushed away into town at 8.30 am (I hate the really heavy traffic going into town as it get near to xmas) I was so early I had to wait in the car for 5 minutes until the shops opened LOL. When I was returning home about noon I couldn't believe the nose to tail traffic for about 2 miles waiting to get into town.
Today, as usual, I have a long TO DO list including ironing, tidy cupboards, and organise freezer.
I will also make potato and leek soup for lunches this week and do some batch baking.
Hope you all have a good Sunday !!!Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)
