    Early days yet.:D

Really pleased to hear of your success.
Unfortunately ours was a night mare relationship but as I have said previously if it works for you it is a good package

Does anyone have a complaint address for talk talk? I don't expect much from them but calling them has no effect whatsoever.
Our go live date was 13th march, moved to 13th april because of a "technical problem". When we bought the package we asked about a modem and were told our existing one would be fine.... obviously it wasn't. No one had mentioned a talk talk modem at all, so was most unhappy to pay an extra 30 quid for one. When we eventually managed to get connected we were promised 15 pounds compensation from someone from customer services over the phone, next time we called there was no record of it or of any previous phone calls. It's ridiculous.

my bb was meant to be connected 27 may. i have been very P8ssed off with the level of service from TT. Its FREE BB - BUT for TT as they dont pay your monthly fee to stay with your current provider.

Ring the BB department direct on 01925 556470 and log your complaint and ask to be referred to the Escalations dept - be pushy & polite. Its worth a try and keep telling them you will leave and make an Oftel complaint.....
also send them emails with your MAC code as its a register of you informing them, as telling them on the phone does not seem to register in their monkey systems.
i am in process of doing this with them....so watch this space!
  • Just to add to the list of moans.....

I agree that it looks like the supply of hardware, or being a brand new customer might be the issue. i already had my landline with them and my switch over to broadband was relatively smooth although a week later than promised

My biggest gripe is their customer service though - pretty much non existent. Call centre is in south africa and sometimes they dont understand what you are trying to tell them
I queued in total on one day for 1 hour 10 minutes (over 4 calls) to get through to customer services, who still didnt resolve my issue so i gave up in the end and it seems to have resolved itself!

Weve had nothing but problems with talktalk and cant wait for the year to be up so we can run away.

The connection is down more often than up and when we ring them we get 'there is a problem at the exchange, our technicians have been told. It may take up to 7 working days to repair'. Im sorry but what am I paying for here?

When we went a month without it (problem at the exchange) we rang them and went nuts. And guess what we got told?!

'Well it is free, so you cant really complain that it doesnt work!'

Please dont join Talk Talk, I want out asap.

belive it or not today it would not work for me at all..but modem was receiving ADSL connection. Spent 2hrs on the phone with them and then they said we have made a slight change on our exchange and hey presto its working now......but fingers crossed it does not happen again.

try my advice in the previous post with teh escalation dept.
