Not sure if this is linked to the recent works or not...but the site is painfully slow for me tonight. Pages just seem to be constantly loading and not actually coming to the end of the process iyswim.

Regardless of anything else, you badly need to upgrade Firefox. :eek:

When you use a special character such an accented e at the end of cafe you get an exclamation mark instead of the correct character like this:
caf!.
The accented text appears in the posting box (using Alt Gr, the standard key for an accented e) but after you post or preview the exclamation replaces it.0 -

Nothing to do with the upgrade.

Using IE8 , when you used to look at someones profile , it would show a Green button to show online and on the right hand side what funtion they were/are carrying out , editing, replying , creating thread etc . now seems just to say
