hi again everyone!:footie: (hey put this on cos hubby at the toon tees derby & feeling more desperate than me!!)
well i started yesterday & have had a headache since the word go! i guess that goes to show how much tea & chocolate etc (i.e !!!!) i was eating if got one already!
Anyway, I had:
scrambled eggs, bacon & mushrooms
tuna salad with cheese
salted nuts
homemade onion soup (2 bowls!! but loads of leeks in)
And water- no tea to drink at all- i usually have 10 cups a day easy.
Today= same headache!
rest of salted nuts
sliced ham & parma ham & couple of bits of sun dried tomatoes & 2 sausgaes
more onion soup (rest now in the freezer)
tried to eat the salad but couldnt face it.
for tea when the kids go to bed I'm having salmon/spinach omlette thingy i've made with cauli mash- speaking of which- can I freeze it if i've used fresh cauli?
still no tea (tho have decAFF in cupboard if need it but trying to avoid the whole tea & biscuits/choc thing.)
P.S- if you convert kg to lbs & stones, I have 4.5 stone to lose. thanks everyone for posts & recipes todayMortgage Balance May 25- £9975. Planning to be paid off by Dec 25🎄0 -

Now that I know you're in France I'm sooooooooooooo jealous!! Love it, love it, love it!! All that wine, cheese & crusty bread!!I don't think I could stick to low-carb if I lived there!!
How about a meeting-up of low-carb friends in France?! Now there's an idea!! Do they do cheap Travelodge rooms?! :rotfl:
I'll come.. cant stay for a fortnight tho, you know what happened last time :rotfl:

Oooooh, are you for the toons or the tees?! Boro for me!!
Good luck with starting low-carb, make sure you eat enough though, and drink plenty of water. I re-started last week & felt rough as a badger's for a good few days, lol!!0 -

I love France too, we stayed in a small guest house in Royan, Western France many years ago, and the owners wife used to bake fresh croissants every morning.
Have been to Gay Paree a few times and also driven all around the south coast staying in small guest houses/hotels.

Real croissants are too expensive, if I buy bread for 'is nibs it's pain aux cereales and I don't like strong coffee. Other than that I agree!
You wouldn't want to be here right now. Cloudy and rainy and not expected to brighten up until the Thursday. Had to light the log burner last night!
Olives are cheap though and plenty of fresh veg (except swede). 5 wine producers in this village. We usually buy our wine from one of them via the tabac (next door) in a box. 5 litres for about £9. It's so good it's like a special treat once a week (other than little 'sips' during the week). I knew there was a good reason why I moved hereVegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food.
