    use a product called 'GUNK'.
it is basically a degreaser used by many people such as mechanics for oil.

you get different types, an engine degreaser in a spray form and a driveway cleaner in a liquid. go for the liquide driveway cleaner, it comes in a red/orange packaging,
can be brought from halfords definately at around a fiver i think.

I seem to remember someone recommending cat litter.

Pour it on the stain , leave overnight then sweep and was off.

Devistated, I had new block paving laid on my driveway and someone has left a nasty oil deposit slap bang in the middle of it, I know its a long shot but you are all soooo good at this finding solutions stuff that I wondered if anyone knew how I could get it all off, or at least dull it down a bit.

    Thanks guys
  • I've read it but not done it - you need cat litter, I don't know which will work best, the Fullers Earth type or the pine compressed sawdust one one but the idea is that it absorbs the oil but it might take a few goes

If you use cat litter - you need to sprinkle it heavily over the stain and leave overnight before sweeping it up.

Anything that says it is extra absorbant should be good.

go to your local halfords and buy something called 'gunk' driveway cleaner. its a degreaser and is bound to get rid of most of the oil stains.

i think 500ml is only a fiver or so!

Cola is supposed to work well too....probably the cheaper the better.
