What can I do with chicken breast fillets...

Options
 Hey there !

Looking for several meal ideas using any or all of these ingredients.

Have 2 week old baby so quick and easy would be best.

I have a lot of each ingredient !!

Plus what can I do with beef brisket ?? Can get some free but never used it and have no idea how to cook it.

Thanks everyone :T

Most obvious is slice open c-breast, put cheese inside, wrap whole thing in bacon and grill/cook in oven.

Also, a pasta bake? Add a tin of toms, herbs etc.

Brisket - cut into chunks and put into slow cooker together with bay leaf, carrot, stick of celery and star anise. Half cover with water and cook for 4 hours. Add grated potato and cook for another 2 hours. Delicious!

put the bacon on the chicken breast, top with cheese and whatever type of sauce you have available - ketchup or bbq, or even mushroom or creamy garlic. Anything will go with this.

Dice the chicken and use it for a cold pasta salad (make twice the amount and have it for lunch the next day as well. It'll keep in the fridge for two or three days).

    Hi,

I have the afternoon off work today, and fancy suprising OH with something different for tea. I have 2 chicken breasts, but have no idea on what to do with them. Cupboard contents are pretty basic (eggs, flour, mixed spices, tomato paste, potatoes, carrots, minestrone soup etc....)

I have had a quick look through the index, but couldn't spot anything.

    Suggestions....

Someone does what they call chicken muck up - chicken and onions etc in a cream of chicken or mushroom soup - with rice, potatoes or pasta.

I have just put my "Cheats chicken lasagne" in the slow cooker if that is any help.

Hmmm....possible. I suppose I could nip to the shops and pick up a can of chicken soup.

Have you got any BBQ sauce?

I do my chicken breasts wrapped in smoky bacon and cooked in BBQ sauce, when it comes out of the oven spinkle on some yummy cheese.

Not very OS i know, but it's my only vice

BBQ sauce....chance would be a fine thing....doesn't last very long as OH loves a bit of sauce.

have a weird sounding dish but its delicious.

Chicken Breasts covered with white wine sauce or mushroom soup diluted down. Take a bag of plain crisps and crush slightly - sprinkle over the top and bake for 35mins. I think it has a proper name of suffolk chicken.
