Free pitcher (worth £9.99!!!) (merged)

I got this:
Thank you for your interest in the Grand Marnier free pitcher offer and your patience whilst we have been sorting applications.
The interest in this promotion was overwhelming and we have been inundated with requests for free pitchers. We have now exhausted our stock of free pitchers, which were allocated on a first come, first served basis. We are sorry to say that your application has not been successful in this instance.
We understand that this may come as a disappointment to you, and are therefore developing a separate offer purely and exclusively for those of you who applied for pitchers yet were unsuccessful. We will mail details of this offer to you by 30th September.
Look out for emails of new upcoming promotions, offer and recipes. If you've yet to enter the prize to win a trip for four to Cognac there is still time - the prize closes on 30th September - best of luck!
If you previously opted out, and would like to opt in, please email grandmarnier@rpmltd.com.
Yours sincerely

This is definately correct, I am a legal advisor for FACT and trading standards, plus I enquired with a legal eagle friend also.
I spoke with John Eddison (think thats his name) at Grand Marnier and he told me they are disgusted at the way RPM have handled the promotion, as they were told that the offer would only be made available to Grand Marnier drinkers and that it would automatically stop as soon as the last pitcher had been reserved.
I think we should pester RPM to be honest as I know most of us would'nt of given out 5 of our friends email addresses for nothing. As for the new offer, well lets face it, its got to be worth less than the pitchers else they would have just had more made.Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive0 -
The handling of this promotion by Grand Marnier has been appaling.
I hope we all get their next "promised" offer. Probably just money off vouchers or something.0 -

I promise you that as you had to give information out in order to qualify for the pitcher they are legally bound to deliver that item, you can demand the item, or a full refund (as no money exchanged hands we can only assume the value of £9.99 as thats what they stated it was worth).

But Im sure the original application form would have said "While stocks last". If so then I would assume what they've done is perfecty legit?0 -
i only referred 5 of my own email addresses so im not to bothered to be honest..if it turned up it turned up if it didnt it didnt...0
