We understand that this may come as a disappointment to you, and are therefore developing a separate offer purely and exclusively for those of you who applied for pitchers yet were unsuccessful. We will mail details of this offer to you by 30th September.

I applied for one - just got the mail saying i wasn't picked ;-( oh well, one less thing to clutter up the kitchen

I got the same email, as for it being a competition, its not thats the holiday. I promise you that as you had to give information out in order to qualify for the pitcher they are legally bound to deliver that item, you can demand the item, or a full refund (as no money exchanged hands we can only assume the value of £9.99 as thats what they stated it was worth).
This is definately correct, I am a legal advisor for FACT and trading standards, plus I enquired with a legal eagle friend also.

I spoke with John Eddison (think thats his name) at Grand Marnier and he told me they are disgusted at the way RPM have handled the promotion, as they were told that the offer would only be made available to Grand Marnier drinkers and that it would automatically stop as soon as the last pitcher had been reserved.

I think we should pester RPM to be honest as I know most of us would'nt of given out 5 of our friends email addresses for nothing. As for the new offer, well lets face it, its got to be worth less than the pitchers else they would have just had more made.

But Im sure the original application form would have said "While stocks last". If so then I would assume what they've done is perfecty legit?
