200 mins of calls (worth up to £70) when you buy a PAYG Virgin Mobile for £23

What's the deal?
Until the end of September, Virgin Mobile's including 200 minutes of call time (to a landline or cross network mobile) free when you buy any Pay As You Go phone from its site. The cheapest PAYG handset available from Virgin is £23 delivered, and a 200 minute calls bundle usually costs £28 on it's own, so you're quids in.
How can I get one?
Simply go to the Virgin Mobile site's PAYG section and choose a handset. The Nokia 1112 is the cheapest at £20 + delivery (£23 all in), but many flashier models are available for a bit more.
To get your free minutes simply activate the voucher you receive with the phone, which you should do as soon as possible. The talk time will be paid as two installments of 100 minutes over 2 months, and will (sadly) expire at the end of October, regardless of when it was registered to the phone. Read the full terms and conditions.
Anything else I should know?
If you go through Quidco you can get £8 cashback for each Virgin Mobile order (except top-ups and contracts).

While this is a good deal, this thread is about a Virgin offer of a phone with free minutes
To anyone taking up the offer (Virgin, not 02).
As stated above, the £70 quoted is slightly misleading. They used to state 200 mins, but £70 sounds better.;)
If you have a Virgin sim card registered (Or get a friend who has), you automatically get £10 discount, so the cheapest phone (Nokia1112) works out at £19.99 - £10 - £8 quidco + £2.99 delivery = £4.98
I have found quidco to be hit or miss if you use your (existing member discount).
You also get 2 free downloads if you have a WAP enabled phone. :beer:Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
I ordered one yesterday as my old virgin phone died.
As I had previously ordered and registered, the phone was on offer at £9.99 plus when you top up with Virgin, every £100 top up gets you £10 off a new phone - I have topped up between £100 and £199.99 so another £10 = free phone (Had to pay £2.99 postage)
This was 4.15pm yesterday PM and arrived 11am today.
Very basic but suits me until I can afford a better one and this will then be used as a cheap backup.0 -

If you have activated the 200 mins bundle, you will first use up the 100 mins each month. If you make more than 100 mins in any month, then the £5 will be used. Hope this helps.
By the way, where did you get Nokia 1112 + 200 min bundle + Sim card with £5 airtime for £14.95???.0
