Suppose it could be classed as circumventing fees, but as it is just a booking page & the price is dearer on the website then I cannot see any problems.
We provide links to our installation guides on our listing & if someone went to our homepage they could find the same for sale for the same price as eBay.http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/listing-links-describe.html
When linking to a page that further describes the item you are selling, that page may contain links to other pages that offer items for sale outside of eBay. This is permitted, provided the intent of the link is to further describe your item and the link conforms to the policy.0 -
Any word on whether KK was arrested and what we should all do next?...0
-
Yes he was arrested and then released.............................
the police do not seem to think that it is a matter for them as we cannot prove that he was not going to delivery the parcels!!
They contacted us today and told us nothing new, they seemed very please to tell us that Dave has some of our parcels but as Dave has just kingdly arranged t 10 of mine to be sent back to me that was nothing new.
So basically we are not nearer getting our goods back.
Is there any other location where are parcels may be stored that anyone knows about?0 -
Surely this cannot be Kevin King again!!
Please take alook at what "parcels2go" wrote at this address.

Could all shippers that have had parcels collected by Selective and not delivered report them to their local police, and request that the police forward the crime ref nos to:
DC Rob Haddaway at Kieghley CID,
West Yorkshire Police.
DC Haddaway who is dealing with the matter has only been made aware of very few cases that have been reported. He needs to be made aware of the scale of this incident and it would be helpful if you could just forward the crime ref number and then he can take the matter further on our behalf.
Many thanks, Lesley0 -

Thanks Lesley! :j I shall report this matter to my local police in Kent early next week. Do you have any contact details for DC Haddaway once we obtain a crime reference number? An email address would stop him being bombarded with phone calls.

I too have had a nightmare with KK, ended up going through CAB and after all this his is no longer at the address.
Basically we bought a glass dining suit, its value was 895 (we bought this in December 2006, paid him 60.00 to deliver - extra because it was glass)
We had the chairs, table legs and glass under table (double layered)
delivered by parcel force, on the courier lable it said glass top to be delivered via TNT, so we waited..... no table top, contacted kk, he said TNT had returned the table to him completely smashed and we were to claim through their insurance
After contacting TNT they had never collected or attempted to deliver this parcel......... contacted KK again..... now his story changed to insufficient packaging, it broke so he disposed of it!!! (Not his property to dispose of - theft?)
He eventually said we could claim through his insurance, but he was palming us off, we had to contact company to get quote for new etc, but he was just trying to waste time and get rid of us.
So we've been going back and forth for 7 months now litterally 1000s of phone calls.
The problem is much of our corespondance was via teelephone as it the only way we could get contact so no proof of what was said etc...
Ahhhhhhhh its made us both quite depressed, it has taken up so much of our time and we are still no closer to solving the problem and it looks like we have just lost a huge amount of money that we can do anything more about.
Buying your first home and moving is enough stress as it is without bloody KK to top it off
Sorry for the long rant, i've missed quite a bit out but its more of the same fobing of, if i wrote the whole thing it would be 20 pages long!0 -

I reported my missing parcel to Kent Police tonight and they are going to pass on my details and crime reference number to DC Haddaway. I understand DC Haddaway is on leave until Wednesday afternoon.0 -
I was actually looking to use selective again but couldn't find any of his listings on ebay, and came to check on here who was currently the cheapest so you gusy have saved my bacon. I have used in in the past and everything was fine a few months ago.
I feel sorry for you lot that have lost out but give the guy a break. Most of us at 21 are stacking shelves in morrisons, atleast Kevin had the guts to start a business, albeit, it went a bit pear shape. Most of the rich millionaires have had atleast 1 business gone bankrupt in their past before they have struck it rich, so maybe we'll still be selling cheap crap on ebay in 10 years time eeking out a living and Kevin will be rolling in it!
Strangely his website through which you could bypass ebay and save yourself a bit of cash is still working http://selectiveuk.tripod.com/ so if anyone wants to send him doggie poo that would be cool
