Cleaning White Shirts

I was wondering if anyone knew how i can get stains out of my white t-shirts, they are the real madrid and england football shirts, they both have greasy looking stains on them from some kind of cream i think. I washed them normally but it never goes, not sure if something like vanish will work? Also is it too late to get the stains out as they have been there for a few months?
Thanks

Try washing them in the washing machine with about an egg cup full of normal bleach in with the load. I have done this before and its worked. Give the machine a couple of extra rinses though, just to make sure you rinse out the bleach properly. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I find soaking clothing in a bucket of cold water with distilled white vinegar in overnight, gets rid of stains really well! Just bung in the washer with normal washing powder once soaked!February Grocery Challenge £250.00
Spend so far £230!! (Ohhh my days HELP) still got almost 2 weeks left!!0 -
Every white t shirt I see worn by anyone else has that sparkling as-new look - almost luminous. If mine don't immediately get bolognese sauce on them, they go grubby looking in the wash. This happens even if I just do a whites only wash. What's the secret?
Oh and while I think of it ASDA have women's plain, round neck, white and other colours T shirts for an amazing £1.75. 100% cotton.

The stains are greasy as they were handled by someone who had cream on their hands.
So can anyone recommend any products to use to get the stains out of white football shirts?0 -
definitely don't use bleach as it may take out the printing on the football shirts,
I've found that on stains that have been around a while vanish spray works wellI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Put neat fairy liquid onto the stain and rub in well. Wash as normal. That should bring out the grease. You might have to do it agian if the stain is really bad.0
