i only joined in March and i've already had what i would consider good wins

2. If that is what you believe why do you stil do it??? Lol seems a bit thick to enter competitions that you believe you won't win because a housewife will!!
Plus you have completely the wrong attitude, I reckon there is a certain amount of karma involved personally, on a hard and stressful month I usually get something just at the right to cheer me up but if I'm comping away because I need the money blah blah nothing!!

Unfortunately it is jobless housewives that spend all day entering comps that reduce the chances of people like me winning anything. I've probably entered thousands of comps over the last 2 years and won less than 10 times.
I need the prizes to sell for money due to high living costs (not outgoings). MSE housewives can clearly afford not to work hence their comp addiction which reduces chances for people like me.
Not that I'm one, but that's really harsh! You never know what people's circumstances are and who's to say that a MSE 'jobless housewife' does not need the money every bit as much as you do ..... rant overMAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0 -

and is it more fair for you to win something and sell it for a profit than someone to win it who actually wants to keep the prize?!

I won a decent amount of things last year which was really my first proper year of comping. Highlights of the year were winning a nokia 5800, ipod nano, and winning 36 bottles of magners. I won lots of other smaller value prizes as well. This year just won a handful of things. Then again I haven't been entering nearly as many. I think its partly down to luck and partly down to amount of comps you enter. Try to enter ones with lesser numbers if its just the winning feeling you desire. Facebook ones are fairly easy to win especially in early days of being open. Mind you I have had a fair bit of hassle chasing FB prizes up. Obviously the bigger prizes like itv ones etc will have loads of people entering so chances are really low but then you got to be in it to win it as they say.

in the regular board there is a sticky thread which is kept up to date with any comps that are daily (well any that people think to notify gilla about so she can add them to the fiorst thread). there is also one for weekly entry comps and monthly comps. all of which are kept up to date and maintained.0 -
