    Looks like they are being selective at which threads they respond to ;)

    Vodaphone suck! I've been with them 10 years, have three lines under my contract and they still wont' offer me a decent deal to upgrade...
  • Interesting the Voda rep is staying out of this thread....

    From reading some other threads they only come here promising to sort everything out but very rarely do
  • the shocking service i got from vodafone made me so mad, but i contacted the rep on here and he managed to sort everything out with in a day or two.

    hello ben, i've just sent you the message with the title ''WRT135 - issue with contract see MSE FAO. BEN''

    hopefully that will come up on your system. Not sure if you want me to put the whole story on that contact form?

    edit. this is my message coudlnt fit anymore onto it as i run out of characters;

    Hello Ben its STOLT from the MSE forums,
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=28591125&posted=1#post28591125
    Further to my post on there, when i upgraded in october i specifically asked Mike Jones (who apparently is a high value account manager) that I wanted to keep my contract under £20.00 and that I wanted to have the same benefits as the contract that had just ended, i wasnt taking a new phone on this contract as i bought a phone off line and unlocked. Ive been charged for the internet and blackberry service which has been cancelled and now thats been credited but i was informed by customer services that my contract should be £27 a month but thats not what was agreed. I sent several emails to Mike Jones the first one he replied to stating that he would advise the information that i had asked for (in my message i specifically put can you confirm the £19.58 contract and the benefits included) and since then i have not had a response from him.

    thanks woudl appreciate your help,

    any idea on how long it takes one of the vodaphone reps to ome back to you, i'm in arrears now so i'll send a cheque or bank payment for the £19.58 which is what i originally agreed then i cant be accused of not paying. do you think thats fair?

  • I've found that unless you're on a £30+ contract most retention teams won't offer you a fantastic deal - but on saying that a bloke at work manages to wrap them round his finger and get all sorts - I guess it depends on who you speak to and what it is you want.

    I agree that personally speaking the £27 sounds reasonably good for what you get (baring in mind you're getting net as well) but a new phone would've been nice.
    As for £19.58 - it would've been at 15% vat so would've gone up anyway
    The £27 sounds as if they've added the £7.50 web'n'walk internet package on top of the initial agreement... could be wrong but if you have access to view your bill online you should be able to see what stuff they're including on your contract.

    My husband has been having £2.99 (or something) added to his bill by Orange for not paying by direct debit - which he has been doing! so systems do go belly up in adding stuff they maybe shouldn't!
    Good luck
