It's an AOL problem, there's certain sites you can not access anymore. I've already contacted AOL and they are aware of the problem, sadly they don't seem to be in any hurry to fix it.0

I've just had an email from AOL telling me to change the MTU on my router to 1390. I did it and it's worked. I've even got my work VPN back, despite Bombay Bob telling me earlier today it had nothing to do with AOL's problems. O2 here we come!!!!0

Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!
I've been on the 'phone to the (so called) help line three times today. The problem is still not resolved and at one point I couldn't access anything at all.
I am beginning to wonder if they will ever actually sort it out. I'm not holding my breath.0 -

What a load of pony! AOL knew full well the problem started Friday. AOL were even stating on their help page on Saturday and Sunday under "System Status" there there were "No issues at present".
Customer Service used to be 'acceptable' when it was part of Time Warner, now I feel it's near non-existant. No more live support, message boards have been pulled, a 48 hours to reply to emails and every time I've telephoned them they're always "experiencing high volumes of calls" and the wait time is unacceptable.
Even though AOL now seems to be back to normal for me (using a Thomson Speedtouch router), I'm still ditching them. Their customer support and faults downtime (do they have any engineers who work weekends?) is just no good for me.0
