I spoke to OH last night as he is a postie and although their level of packets/parcels has increased now he says there is no backlog at his depo - we are on the Isle of Wight though so the backlog could be held up at the main depo on the mainland - he also said some posties were now going back out in the evenings to do deliveries.

Also - regarding the Xmas strikes - he has heard NOTHING about them - I think it is someone trying to stir things up again within the media. BUT we shall see.

went ot tesco last night to pick up my two hammys, they pulled out the box and it said 4 pieces on the side I got all excited:D! but they said they had to open it as a lot of people were getting only 1 hamster so needed to check both were there

. They were both inside, but my hubby had took the kids down the next aisle while I was getting them and the two sa started asking questions very loudly about them, and testing them (pressing there nose):mad:, saying whats so great, I just don't get them, whilst playing with them!
I asked them to keep it down as my kids were near but they just kept pressing the noses:mad::mad::mad:. I grabbed them stashed them in my bag out of sight, but if my kids don't know what they are getting for christmas I would be shocked:eek:.

So be aware go get them without the kids as they will open them and check them, and if anything like mine play and talk about them too!!!

I reckon they all think they are like that naff hamster in ball that was around a fiver in the gadget shops.

Probably dont understand they are interactive and have cool slides and accessories and stuff!!:j

Time for a funny story now that the flurry of stock has finished. Put up for sale in my local paper brand new boxed rock and roll ride along tigger. Said to my other half last night, well we was inundated with phone calls. He thought i said rock and roll HARD on. I said maybe i should of put that in the advert, we might of got some phone calls. Can we tell what was on his mind. lol
