It was quite strange actually because I emailed in to the Middleton office in charge of Greater Manchester East/West. An hour later bam the call came through! I just pray everyone else gets theirs soon!0

I applied to IRC 62876 ( EO in Northwest), had my interview 6th october and i recieved a letter putting me on a waiting list. i have now received my disclosure check through...is this a sign that a job offer will be coming soon or do they do the checks on everyone. just seems silly to waste money if they aint going to give you a job lol.

No, it seems they like to waste money. We have all had CRB checks back, some duplicated many times :rolleyes:
Mine came back 1st week of September.

Its the roller coaster of DWP!!! once the IRC list is passed to the Jobcentre/District office, its them who "make the call" thats what sammyjammy is saying, they can give more information sparky found out from them there was no jobs and like I have no vacancies at 11 offices!! not to put anyone down just to give the facts!;)

On that note - do you know whom to contact with regard to JCP IRC vacancies? Mine is IRC 60811 and I'm desperate to start asap! I don't care if it's Whitchurch (in fact, I'd qute like it there if anyone is reading this, hint hint)!

I sat for an assessment test on 13/10 and a week later got an email advising I have passed the minimum standards and that I am on a waiting list for six months.
Has anyone been called for an interview? Or even received a posting in City and East or North/North East London?
Any information on how this process works will be appreciated.0 -

Nice one PontyendStart on the 7th! Got my closest location too, but I wont be committed to one JCP and could be moved around any of the four in my town. It will be a 12 month contract. :beer:
Applictation to start date was six months. My CRB came back start of September. Good luck to all those waiting, anyone else for 60535 I was in the 70s on the list, down from 102 to 95 to 70 something so it seems people are either dropping out or aren't taking on the roles.

I had the round of interviews on the 12th and 20th August and I now start on the Training week from the 23rd Nov. Was told by Newcastle that I was 48th on the Merit List.
