Beware of this site and its extremely misleading deals and even worse confirmation emails that perpetuate the deal & then change it.
They should not be allowed to operate in this way.
Please don't be caught out like we have .. committed to am 18mth contract of a very poor deal.
Anyone else had this experience with these phone sharks?

There is a thread on the subject

If you have genuine issue - then complain to Ofcom and/or Consumer Direct (Trading Standards) with exact details.
If you and others complain - something might get done.0 -
What was the issue Heather? Happy to look into it if you feel you were mislead. Does it relate to a discounted line rental deal (redemption cashback) on an already-discounted tariff, such as the "O2 600 Promo" tariff?
We changed how we display "Best Deals" following the feedback given on the thread linked above so keen to hear your views.

mobiles.co.uk rep - was overkill's problem (in thread below) sorted or not?
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1977095&highlight=overkill
It was clear mis-selling.0 -
I passed it onto the relevant senior manager for them to resolve so don't recall what the outcome was for the customer, but I made sure the ambiguity identified was removed.
It's only mis-selling if it's intentional deception designed to make the sale, which it really wasn't - we're selling a tariff with a £10 discount and then a further half-price discount, it's not the easiest thing to represent on the site.

Yeah but as I recall overkill ended up on a contract which meant he would be paying £27 average per month rather than £20 a month as was clearly indicated in the advert. I know I looked at that advert and it was very mis-leading (be it intentional or not).
I think it would help to know the outcome of that problem (be it from overkill him/her self or if you could find out yourself).
Because I am interested in knowing as are others I think.0 -

Regards,
Ben - this is the problem. You pass things on - as you have to do as your company is not a one-man-band and the problem disappears into a black hole. Your company needs to introduce a simple system to keep track of outstanding issues, recording who is dealing with them and how it is being resolved.
Senior managers need to look at the issue list every day and it needs to be on line so that when someone asks "What happened? " you don't come across as a guppy because you have passed the baton on.
You are the company rep on here. Your colleagues need to know that and need to realise that your company is taking a hammering on this forum and things need to improve. You are definitely going to lose business. A good reputation takes years to aquire and only minutes/days to lose.0 -

I have picked you up on this before.
Take ownership of problems or there is no point in you being here.0 -
I didn't say I didn't check it was resolved - I said I don't recall the outcome. Even if I did, technically I'd have to get the customer's permission to share it with this forum.“Official Company Representative
