Hi can anyone tell me if they take a small child in a buggy on visits with them? Ive signed up with a few companies and im sure one of them said to take noone with you unless stated but a child in a buggy may be an execption.
My ds normally goes to nursery but he is off on Thu and ive taken on two optician jobs. Ill try and get my mum to babysit, but if I can take him along that would be so much easier. thanks
It depends on the MS company and the client. The Gap burgers and GFK banks say not to take anyone with you and that includes children in buggies. Grassroots jobs are usually fine with it and I have taken my children with me for lots of Gap jobs too (not burgers but pizza, phone shops etc). Retail Eyes often say not to take children, but occasionally they have restaurant visits where you are required to take a child (usually the restaurants are for 2 adults and children are specifically excluded).

I usually work on the basis that unless they specifically prohibit taking children, then it is OK to take them.

Click on the job - stage 4 is the questionnaire details - under "assignment details" it has "change date of visit"

I burnt out after doing 8 jobs....11 is just mad.
My feet do hurt but it wasn't too horrendous as 10 were in the same town. I made sure I completed the questionnaires on paper in between so as not to get them mixed up. Have now typed up 6 so more than halfway through. ;)

They are for RE and Tern, im not sure what to do. Im sure last year when i was doing MSing I took him with me and never had any issues. Ill get a babysitter anyway tomorrow, they are quite good paid jobs tomorrow so dont want to risk not getting paid. Thanks for the advice.

I've taken my child with me in a buggy on an opticians job as the brief didn't state that I couldn't take anyone with me. Like CTE111 says, if it states on the brief not to take anyone, DONT.

They usually check their CCTV to try and recognise their mystery shoppers and if you have broken the agreement by taking a child/buggy with you then you won't get paid.

A buggy or baby in a pram is still classed as taking someone with you.

I would try and get a babysitter if you can as optician visits can be long. It would be a shame if he got irritable because he got bored and spoiled the visit.

I'm a mother and try and leave mine with family wherever possible as I find it easier to concentrate on doing the job well if I'm not constantly checking on what the children are up to.
Here I go again on my own....

Please can someone remind me how I can change the date on an RE assignment? Sure I've done it before but can't see how. Thanks.

I'm shattered, have done 11 jobs today, just got to write them up now.

Wow  11 jobs ! I did 3 yesterday, and thought how tiring that was, especially writing them up . . .

Did a Mobile Phone shop, and REALLY liked the Blueberry I was demonstrated . . Me thinks Chrimbo Pressie ! :T Wonder if GR will pay towards reimbursement ! ;)

Just done my first RE mystery shop and now I see what you guys mean by the repetetive quiestions! Sheesh! Tried to do a GAP phone shop visit afterwards but browsed the shop for ages and the guys ignored me and I couldn't be arsed to go up and speak to them as it was just me in the store so I left and recheduled it for next week!

    I think someone's missing the point...! It's a ahem, "paper loss" ;)
Not at all UKM - just highlighting the fact that we are all working at a loss (on paper)
I'm wondering why a round pizza comes in a square box -
