I already have 1 MBNA card...

I also already applied for 2 new cards this month (and was accepted)...

Do you think it's even worth trying for this one? 1 of the new cards is for BT, but if I got this one it would be obviously cheaper... Just worried that I could get refused... but I don't really need to apply for any further card.

    Anyone already been succesful?

    Thank you.
What do you think about my chances if I already have 2 applications this month?

If there's a balance on your existing MBNA card, particularly if it's still charged at special promotion rates, you may be turned down or handed a lowish limit.

Knock back. I have good credit history and supposedly excellent credit score.Homeowner. No applications since February.I do owe large balances on 2 cards from stoozing so I guess this may have counted against me.

Be wary of applying unless you have a excellent history and little oustanding credit or you may be putting a pointless search on your file. Just my tuppence worth though.

Oh and they were kind enough to direct me to the Vanquis card. 39.9%:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Yeah right.

How long do you have to wait after cancelling a Virging Card before applying again?

Its a shame this cannot be used for SBT though. 4% fee on those. Would have come in handy for a payment i need to make in the future - over 60 days away.

Can you add something to that story along the lines of

"DON'T FORGET TO SET UP A DIRECT DEBIT - IF YOU MISS A PAYMENT YOU WILL LOSE YOUR PROMO RATE!!!!!!"

    Thank you :)

Have you got Egg Money ? If not apply for that aswell and you can route your SBT through that without a fee.

I've been out of the stoozing game a while (don't like fees!)
I still have an original egg card which used to be handy for arranging + balances to be transferred into a bank account. Am I right in thinking they charge a fee for this now?

Is it realistic to hope to transfer money from a BT like this one into a bank account without incurring fees, or am I looking at a slow stooze?
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
