In true Pen-Pin style I've clean the loos.:D
LOL I got Mr LW to scrub our loo yesterday, on the basis that there's two of us here to make it grubby, and I did it last time.;):D

    I've been Money Tipped!
Donnygal - embarrassed to admit, but nothing OS today. And not everyone wants to hear about LB, which is quite understandable. I'm allowed to be besotted, but it isn't compulsory for everyone lol :rotfl:

My blog tells of his latest episode - and yes, nearly twenty four hours after he first noticed he is still upset that his door doesn't have a nose. I am dreading tonight.

Also, not likely to be posting here, but on my blog for a few days, as darling father coming to stay :eek::eek: which usually means havoc in fair words. But if the FA Cup Final is this Saturday then at least I don't have to worry about entertaining him on Saturday afternoon and I just need to be able to carry him upstairs Saturday evening. My nice next door neighbour is putting up a handrail on our stairs for us tomorrow, which is something of a relief.

But hugs to all, hope everyone is having a good time.

Have been reading but not participating today as nothing really OS or anything else to say ;)

But I have just gone onto your blog WS to read about LB and had to come on here to say yes, I was probably laughing as loud as you were last night :D Amazing how little minds work and he associated the door handle with his nose - awwwww bless his little cotton socks :rotfl:

...... Went to the Drs. for the results of a cholestral blood test, and I am good, no tablets needed. It seems there is a relevence to BP, and when mine was up then it affected the result, but not the tablets have brought the BP down the rest is good:rolleyes::confused::cool:........

I have quite high cholesterol & apparently they look at how high your level is & how high your blood pressure on a little graph (a bit like the child weight / height centile chart) to see if you are in the red bit, in which case you'd get pills. My BP is low - normal so I'm pill-free too :)

    Hello everybody,

Weather miserable here, quite cold which is bothering OH big time, heating on almost as much as in February...can't even think about how much oil is in the tank!

Welcome to Newbies....this is a nice place to be.

Hope that everybody doing exams copes well and gets the best of themselves down on paper....stressful time of year.

We had pork chops, roast spuds and onions, broccoli for dinner, pancakes for pud...little treat for DGS2 really as Mammy is missing until her exams finish on Saturday.

Had a friend drop in for a cuppa, took some banana sponge thingy out of freezer and it was really good....don't usually freeze any sweet stuff so was pleased...only problem is that I don't remember what recipe I used so will have to experiment....ah well, someone will eat it.

OH was making another box for tomatoes to-day in between the showers....we need to get them all out soon if we are going to have any kind of crop this year.

Hugs to all, especially those in need or want, congratulations to those who are celebrating
