    I was wondering this too.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

The chunky chicken sounds a bit strange - but at 60p I decided to take the risk & order some. I suspect this is the catering stuff that many of us may have unwittingly eaten already.
I've been very happy with what I've had in the past, so when it arrives I will post to report back on how it is.

I got the chunky chicken today, and have cooked 200g.
    Ingredients as follows, when reconstituted
    Water
    Chopped and shaped chicken(31%)
    Skimmed milk
    Modified Maize Starch
    Wheat flour
    Salt
    Dextrose
    Cereal Fibre
    Gluten
    Chicken fat
    Flavouring
    Flavour enhancers
    Colour
    Spices
    Herbs

I've got to confess I bought it to bulk out my dog's food. They loved it. The chunks are about 1cm cubes. I tried it, but although I've probably eaten it without knowing , it's not something I would choose to eat. Don't take my word for it though, as I'm really fussy about meat, and my kids complain frequently that I won't buy things like chicken nuggets and sausages.

Be careful using human food to feed dogs, especially processed food, as it may well be high in salt.

I LOVE the Fruitibu dried apples things - great for a sweetie fix at work!

It tastes salty to me, but they'll only get it once a week, if that. I agree that it wouldn't be good to feed it too often.

I love the chocolate almonds. I wish I'd bought more.
  • I have just received my 3rd order. As usual everything well packed and this order only took 7 days. The really impressive thing is that Approved Foods refunded £3.75 p&p because they managed to pack all the goods into two boxes. Great customer relations AF well done.
Now I have to start thinking of ways to use 90 mushroom stock cubes:rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
My order from the 16th was delivered yesterday, everything very well wrapped, and the gluten free crispy bars are delicious! I too have 15 boxes of mushroom stock cubes :D but am planning mushroom risottos and lots of mushroom soup.

Just about to make some pizzas using some of the arrabiata sauce, going to freeze the rest. Also plan on freezing the curry sauce into 2 portion boxes. Not sure what to do with 9 jif lemons though, :rotfl:off to find my jif recipe book.

My son ate one of the orange jellies and said it tasted fine, he also had the orange 'skittles' which he seemed to like as he ate the whole bag! The choc almonds/coffee beans are really lovely, the Rococo chocs are nice but for the money the choc almonds are a much better bargain. :D
I will make up some of the chicken pie filling later and see how it is, it does say on it though to mix it up well as the dry mixture will have 'settled' so won't be evenly distributed, this is a problem if you are only making up a small amount, but I guess it's not a problem if you make the whole 5 kilos at once lol but I don't think my freezer can take that many pies!

i f you look on the rococo website you will see how much one bar of their chocolate is - about £4

We like the pretzel crisps, mango balls, apple crisps, flapjacks are good, not yet opened the chaos mix, also the guacamole is delicious. What a bargain!
oh there were some cheesy crackers too they are lovely, and the wizard biscuits are an acquired taste but one easily acquired.

I have not yet portioned up the arrabiata sauce its sitting on the worktop causing great hilarity to my kids. Just need some containers to put it in!

Personally I would not eat the chicken because i only eat free range organic chicken.

PLEASE AF get some filter coffee WITH caffeine in it!

Use these to clean limed up areas – taps, shower fittings and glass etc.
