is it any of these click on them and they will give you the opening times.

Thanks for that, but the store doesn't show up on any of the locations with the store locator, because as far as I know, it isn't actually open for business yet. Thats what I'm trying to find out ;) .

I tried to use a purple voucher on a reduced No7 nail varnish today, SA even asked when she was scanning it if I had a voucher, and said it had been working yesterday, but she couldn't get it to go through!! Didn't want to push my luck as she was adding 500pts manually from a baby voucher that didn't work already. None of my vouchers seem to be working at the moment.

I've been to 4 london stores today looking for bargains:D

small store on high street kensington: no clearance section and no reduced No7:rolleyes:

big store on high street kensington: lots of extracts minis, but I resisted the urge to buy any:D

still lots of putting sets at this store. Plenty of pink No7 GWP (jewellery boxes) on clearance.

Lots of reduced No7 liquid/compact foundations with clearance stickers on. Didin't get any since others have reported the tills no longer accept the perkie against them. Glad to hear (thanks pollsdolls:T ) the perkie still works on other reduced No7 items.

Bond street: clearance stand still has some No7 suncreams and a few other bits, but nothing worth a mention. I spotted a clearance sign near the No7 counter, but no products to be seen:confused: I saw a huge crate of No7 products awaiting clearance stickers just the other day. It can't all have been sold, can it? either that, or they have hidden it all until the perkies end:rolleyes:

    sedley place:

quite a few putting sets on shelf.

No7 clearance stand near the SS tills still has reduced No7 foundations on it. Again, I didn't get any because the till is not accepting the perkie on these. I've no intentions of paying real money for these Mr B:rolleyes:

Then, I stumbled across another clearance shelf. It's near the manned tills (on the same floor) They had the nail thingies passion8 mentioned earlier. Priced £1, some body sprays and various sunless tan products. I bought the following items:

    3 x boots holiday glow, 30p each

2 x piz buin gradual face tan, 30p each

4 x 17 lasting glow wear off self tan mousse, 10p each

17 instant glow leg bronzer, 10p

paid with points:j BTW, I only wombled one perkie today:confused:

Well, that's the end of todays report from moi:) Hope everyone had a good day:D

I've had a couple of interesting Boots visits this week.

DD and I went to the Princes Street store on Monday. I managed to womble a perkie so was quite chuffed. We had a quick look round downstairs, where I added Olay Definity cleanser and gwp, then headed upstairs to clearance shelves. Loads of No7 things on offer, so stuck a couple of them in the basket in the hope of disguising the gwp.

When I got to the till SA put cleanser and gwp through without comment, then added the No7 items, took the perkie and scanned it, but for some strange reason it didn't take the £5 off. I didn't want to complain as I'd managed to get away with the gwp. At least the perkie was a wombled one so I hadn't lost out, and I got another as my purchases were over £5.

When we got to Pizza Hut for tea I opened the gwp to have a look. I'm glad I hadn't paid full price for the Definity. The gwp looks nice but I don't think it's as good a gift as the No7 one. But I will use the Definity so it was a nice little extra.

Mid week I went to my usual branch and it looked as if the clearance shelves had just been topped up :) I got Mediterranean body scrub, body butter and bath foam all for £1.20 each. Another shopper was there at the same time and quickly put several tubs in her basket. I also picked up a Boots Organic 3 piece collection and a Boots Aromatherapy collection too. Both were just over £1.50. Also Ted Baker Body wash for £1.15. I was delighted with my purchases.

I lost my AC last week, but cancelled it immediately so I'm just waiting for my new one to come. I picked up a temporary one and have registered it in DS's name. I'm using it just now so no idea how many points on it. He says I've to keep it anyway as he doesn't want to use it. He despairs of our Bootsing.

Today I headed back for another wee look round. This was after visiting M&S sale. I blame DD, if she hadn't phoned this morning to tell me about her trip to Princes Street M&S I wouldn't have gone for a look.;)

The clearance shelves didn't seem to have anything more than they had midweek, but they did have more Olay gwp in and the pore scrub cleanser. So I decided to give it another try. I also picked up another couple of the Ted Baker body wash and a box of mansize hankies with balm. I've been sneezing terribly for the last couple of days so my poor wee nose needed some tlc too. I headed for the tills ready to try the "Oh I didn't realise" if challenged about the gwp. SA tried to put it through first and said it was a free product with a purchase, but then she saw the cleanser so scanned it and then gwp again. It worked, of course.:j

I was exhausted after that so decided to head for Starbucks to have my free cup of coffee. I bought a lovely slice of ginger cake to go with my coffee and sat down to enjoy. I decided to open the gwp to have a look at the contents. Good job I did. I realised as soon as I opened it that it didn't look right. Half of the products were missing. But now I have the dilema of risking taking it back and being told I shouldn't have had it with the cleanser. So I decided to leave it till tomorrow and take it in without the rest of my purchases. If I accidentally don't have my receipt with me there shouldn't be a problem.

All this shopping is such hard work I feel the need for a pampering evening. I certainly have more than enough lotions etc. Can't think where they all came from
I don't think you will have a problem as the deal is gwp with olay definity not just moisturisers so its not actually a glitch, just an offer. :)

I think it is a glitch cos on the actual box it says free with 'definity moisturisers' I'm sure they wouldnt usually have a gwp for such a minimal spend. And luckily for us works in store and on .com :D
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o
  • Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and have managed to get some great bargains thanks to you lovely ladies! As a mum of a one year old and a three year old I rarely ever get anything for myself, but I now have a fully stocked make up bag and loads of smellies for me and me alone, and mostly for my very favourite price...free! It's wonderful! I have been using the No7 vouchers and ACM vouchers for once, rather than just sticking them in my purse and forgetting about them!

Today I got 2 of the Stay Perfect foundations for £3.** each. They were actually displayed at that price and went through the till at £7.** each, but the SA did a price override and accepted a perkie for each of them!

Yesterday I managed to get two of the Sanctuary sets for £1.7* each, plus I have completely cleared my small local store of their clearance stock!

Bootsing is great fun and I am really enjoying reading about the great buys everyone else has managed to get. I do love a bargain (or two, or three...)!

When I first glanced at this, for a second I honestly thought it was one of those "Mooncups" peeps have been talking about :o:rotfl: .
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I've just Googled a mooncup image and realised that I've seen one before without any packaging, I thought it was some sort of suction device for inverted nipples :o

    Thanks

The offer says Olay Definity mousturiser iirc. But as till accepted it there really isn't a problem. I'll take it back tomorrow and see what they say.
