That's exactly like my SO, it's so frustrating :(

The PMA factor really is important - it was the first time I'd ever experienced it (Miss Negativity, me!) but as soon as I read about e-cigs I felt a surge of hope, and no matter how much my equipment played up or let me down I've been able to stick with it. I keep saying it, "It's a miracle" :T

I just hope, Minnie, that you don't take to e-cigs too enthusiastically when you've been a non-smoker for so long.

  • Im a Newbie be gentle!! Just would like to add ive bought a black super mini ecig with blue neon light.....no baccy fags now for 8 weeks - and will never buy a packet again....done gum done patches done inhalator....no good and I just love the 18mg Cherry e-liquid. Used it at work, on Ryanair flights, in the airports, in shops and of course...pubs - no problem.

If you want to give up the dirty habit....i'd thoroughly recommend trying this cleaner version. Aiming to drop the nicotine levels to zero and that should be me....Ive been a 20 a day smoker for 24 years.

I have noticed though - theres always someone somewhere who gives you a dirty look when your vaping away!

I started off really well - and then felt dreadfully ill for about a week. Thought it was a bug. Then stopped the e cig now for a week and have felt fine. I will try it again, to see if I get the symptoms come back.

Its been a bit of a downer... :o

I'm so pleased you're getting on so well with your black/blueLED Mini, Simon - I bought one after I'd been using the white for a month or so, it was very weak by comparison. Must've been a maverick, you do get them in all colours and brands.

Darn it, Jeannie, after all this time we just crossed in the post. I'm so sorry you've had such a big setback. One of my e-cig pals said she couldn't get on with glycerine, made her feel sick - don't suppose that could have anything to do with your unwellness?

    Just look after yourself (((((Jeannie))))))))

had a strange reaction from my local pub landlady on friday night, i asked her if it was ok to use the e cig and she said no, when i asked why she said she didnt want anyone smoking anything in her pub, i tried to explain it wasnt smoke and asked her how come she uses a coffee machine that lets off water vapour!!! still didnt get it, i guess some people will take this view and just cant be convinced.

That is so frutrating, Mike - I hate people who are irrational like that - and they've got power over you  Any chance if you'd called it "nicotine replacement therapy"?

    Next time don't ask...........

Hark at me.. I'm really flagging at the moment, so should really shut up...

But in your defence Mike, you shouldn't need to ask if you can 'smoke' as you are not smoking. Just vapour!

I've not done the glycerine thing so its not that... Just blinding flash headaches. Seem to have them shortly after having a 'vapour' - but stopped them for a week, did have a few other nasty symptoms too. Felt fine as soon as stopped and can't seem to get back into it again........ I was so happy to start off with.

    bit down now.
