  • I'm sure I read that someone had got a leaflet from their branch saying there was £5 off of a £25 spend this Thursday.

Does anyone know if this is all branches? I didn't see any leaflets in my local one, and I'm trying to work out the best shop to buy some perfume in

See my post Page 168, number 3342 - HTH

  • Maybe these stores are suffering worst in the recession & they desperately need to boost them?
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!
  • Went into Romford this morning with OH, who needed me to hold his hand whilst he bought a jacket (!) and, naturally, I could hear the Bells of St Boots, ringing out and calling me. ;)

I had my P & P £5 voucher on me, and wanted to load up a 250 points voucher as well, so I bought some hand cream, for £4, less the points, makes it £1.50 in Boots logic. :D

Then I walked around the near-empty store, to find........... the Pink Doggies Had Gone! I am so used to seeing them there, and I couldn't believe that they had suddenly sold. But when I said to a roving SA "Excuse me, but do you have any of those pink doggy book ends left", she gave a little smile and said "I think they've trotted off to Beckton", so I replied "no doubt wagging their tails behind them"!

Goodbye ol' friends, I hope you all find good homes.

Hi, I was only giving an example of what I would say if challenged - but in actual fact it's the SAs who've said to me "I can't give you any money without a receipt, I'll put it on a gift card". And I can't recall anyone ever having to ask a Manager.

Perhaps I look such a state, with my hat pulled down over my eyes to cover my 60s eyebrows, and my wide shoes, shaped like frying pans, to accommodate my bunions, and my pantently obvious Primark bag, that they just feel sorry for me!
    xx

    Well good for you! :T
i do wish they'd bring that policy back here! or just stick to the same thing nationwide?
i do wear a hat, have strange eyebrows and own a primark bag! but my feet are a bit on the small side but I'll work on it!

Note that this voucher is apparently printed for different areas of the UK, and as such there are other shops where you can get and use these vouchers for £5 off a £25 spend. I picked one up last week in the Oracle in Reading, and that store as well as several others that weren't on your list are listed at the bottom of my voucher. I would expect there are more stores than this in other areas. They had these laying around shelves in the store, so if you are in a large boots, just look around. They are on a flyer that looks very like the ones you can find on the pharmacy counter for £2 off an £8 spend.

    Thank you :)

I'm in town tomorrow for my dance class, so will leave home a bit earlier to give me time to scour my local Boots for a flyer first. I didn't see any the other day, but they could have put some out since
  • Got an Advantage point voucher for £5 off No7 P&P, bought two different eye creams that I had been wanting for £7.20 and £16.80, so got £5 off that and received a nifty GWP of No7 products worth £31! Plus points! And all for less than £20.

    I think I'm addicted to Boots :P
2010 wins so far...A Benefit Lipstick, Vera Wang perfume, a brand new bicycle!!
