Well went bootsing again today this time in Reigate and then in Redhill - I really don't know if I'm cut out for it though - found it very confusing and stressfull !!! I keep trying to spend those blasted £2 off haircare and it either doesn't happen or as soon as I get rid of one I get given more!! ARRRGH ha ha ha!!

    Anyway, here are todays results:

    Reigate:
Radox Shower Gel for Men - BOGOF so £1.59 for 2 not mega bargains but
Radox Moisturise shower cream - BOGOF so £1.59 for 2 better than nothing
KOS Advanced Shave Serum 50ml - used voucher so £3.88 instead of £4.88
    Frizz-Ease Hair Serum25ml - used £2 hair wrinklie so £1.89 instead of ££3.89
Total £8.95 so got another £2 hair wrinklie & £5 skincare wrinklie
They didn't have much clearance but they did have some old No7 GWP - one in pink stripey box and one in mint green makeup back and then one eye shadow compact but at £6.50 and £9.30 I said no thanks to those!!

    Redhill:
KOS Kinexium Shave Gel - reduced to £1.22 from
No7 Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum - used £5 off P&P ACM voucher aquired from lovely lady on here so £12.37 instead of £17.37 plus used 250 No7 advantage points - got this for my mum for Mothers Day
No7 Metallic Pencil - full price - £6.85 but got the No7 GWP & even though it had 478 on the bottom it has come with the 250 points voucher!! Will use the GWP for a birthday hamper for friend!
Time Delay anti ageing eye cream - used £5 skin wrinklie so £1.84 instead of £6.84
Tried to put through 2 Trevor Sorbie mini mens shampoo with the £2 haircare voucher but nothing doing!! Will probably get proper size tomorrow!

Now comes the EMBARRASSING bit - as its states on the voucher!! The S&G coupon!! Anyway I have been trying for ages to find in any of the Boots stores I've visited recently the S&G Skincare range!! I'm yet to believe it exists cos I can't find it!! Anyway, decided to try my luck with the hand food and the body polish as had printed off two - they are for use on skin afterall - thought I would try on the minis as the voucher doesn't stipulate not minis like all the others do. Said to the SA is it okay to put one of these as a separate transaction and she said yes no problem!

First she put through the body polish and it beeped so she called over a manager and they discussed and agreed that it was still valid (I kept stum!!) and so then she voided it and put it through manually & the manager approved it! So Body Polish for 20p instead of £2.20 then I said 'really sorry but can I put this other one through two as separate transaction?' - gave her the hand food and the S&G £2 voucher (by this time there was a HUUUGE queue behind me!) and the SA was lovely and kept saing 'oh yes this is embarrasing - cos thats what it said on the voucher - and kept apologising to me!! Had to go through manually again so mini hand food for 20p instead of £2.20.
Total spent £22.48 and saving of £10.00 and got more wrinklies

Its freaking me out though cos I keep trying to get rid of my wrinklies and they just keep accumulating!!!!

Woo hoo SS tills in my Boots in Plymouth at last, bought some reduced Burt's Bees cuticle creams for £2.45, I think they should have been about £5.00, they also had reduced coconut foot cream and face wash for about a fiver I think from memory. Also bought a reduced Nuxe Creme Nirvanesque for £11.70 my skin does love this and a little bargain at less than half price, also bought hubby a reduced Cerrutti set for half price.
The sales assistant was lovely and helped me as I wanted to do 3 seperate transactions, even thought I was under 10p on the burt's bees she still gave me a voucher.

No HE, L'Oreal sets, reduced Gillette, putting sets or Radox on the shelves all empty, still had a good shop and pleased.
  • Had a poke around a couple of Boots today but nothing new to report. Lots of old style HE bottles hanging around the shelves like bad smells now just waiting to be snatched away! Come on Boots, give us what we want! :)

Lots more rebranded Radox stuff though. Seems like everyone is at this rebranding thing at the moment.
  • Been Bootsing today again ladies!

My local has the black bags @ £3.25 - can't possibly use another mirror or brush though so have left well alone!

my local is selling these at £6.50:eek:
And truth be told I miss you...
And truth be told I'm lying
  • I've used the £2.00 S&G voucher twice on the skincare range and they went through without a problem, taking the money off the item rather than showing a discount. I love the youthful serum which smells nice and I think is much nicer to use than P&P and has a similar look & feel.

Quite a few of the usual discounts to be found in Swindon Greenbridge & Brunel but no Putting sets or l'Oreal Fatigue sets. Gillette is reduced in the Brunel store but after doing a price check on the shaving gel as it was on the clearance shelf but without a sticker still came in at £1.95 which i didn't think was that cheap.HTH
