Having just read the link again it sounds like she uses actual round magnets hot the photo sheet type which only take the weight of paper like these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/25-DISC-ROUND-MAGNETS-12x3mm-MAGNETIC-Craft-Fridge_W0QQitemZ130272980343QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Crafts_Other_Crafts_EH?hash=item130272980343&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1688|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318Pucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0

Many thanks!
I am currently organising older jeans to make bags..
Then will go through smallish jumpers - will make cushions with these, and decorate with embroidery.
Skirts will become aprons for the cooking baskets, I am on a roll now. Good thing I got lots of dinners already made in the freezer..........Loving the sunny days!0 -
finefoot - sounds like you'll be busy.
There's a thread on here full of things to make from other stuff......'Recycling...' (oops can't remember the rest) But it's worth a lookMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Hello all,
I’ve found some more items that would be great for baking kits for children and also hamper baskets and a craft container, all also for kids.
Where I have been able to find the links I’ve included them.
I was in Wilkinson’s yesterday and saw:
Plastic baking items
A set of three brightly coloured plastic mixing bowls in varying sizes for £4. One is blue, the second is green and the third is orange - http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0262513
Matching whisks that are £1.50 each.
A plastic kids pastry set for £1.50. In it there is; a rolling pin, moulds, cutter shapes, a pattern utensil, a spatula and a spoon.
A set of six plastic novelty cookie cutters for 99p.
Wooden baking items
A 10 inch wooden spoon for 23p - http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0285540
A 12 inch wooden spoon for 35p - http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0285940
A five piece wooden utensil set for £2 - http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0262888
They also sell a chef's set for £5 each and they come in in blue and pink. They contain a chef's hat, a towel, apron, wooden spoon and two cutters. Here is the link but I'm sure that those of you with sewing and textile skills could make personal and handmade aprons and hats yourselves. http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0257099
Plastic storage containers for kids
I also found a blue, yellow and red plastic storage box with a handle that would be great as a craft box for papers, card, glitter, glue etc if you are putting one together as a kids present. It has a compartment tray at the top for little bits and bobs and the lid is transparent. Here is the link - http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0226652
If you are making hampers for little ones and don’t want to use wooden baskets, they do a set of two plastic baskets for £1.25 in red and blue. They are described as “large” but I don’t think they would hold really big items though. Here is the link - http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0202200
They also do a medium set of three baskets for the same price.
Here is a link to find your nearest store and they give an example of one, it's nearby stores and their opening times - http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/page/store and you can also shop online.
I’d like to publicly thank my boyfriend, who I rang and asked to write the items and prices down as I didn’t have pen and paper with me at the time!
We spent yesterday evening going through and sorting out the cupboard under our stairs and to my boyfriend’s horror he discovered that I have three craft boxes and what’s more they are all paper craft material! I am now rightly banned from buying anymore paper craft bits for a long time...
We live in a split level period flat and don't have much storage space and as a result all my presents, empty boxes, jars and bits and pieces that are waiting to be made into homemade creations are now stored at my parents!

Oh if any of you live in the Lincoln area, I found some small gold pots with noel on them in morrissons, reduced down to 48p each, thought they would be ideal for pots of gold as they are candle holders so can be used afterwards.
Also Instore had some lovely wool at £1 a ball, I bought two, can't knit but trying to do a scarf without knitting.
Also Dunelm Mill ( think that's how you spell it) have some gorgeous bits of material ends that they are selling off really cheap. some nice cushion covers at 25p each!
Oh didn't know if anyone would be interested in this link or if someone else has posted it, but thought i'd let you all know about it

Oh and found this one as well http://weewonderfuls.typepad.com/wee_wonderfuls/store/pointykitty.html
Will post photos when I learn how to.*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -
Hi I tested my nugget magnets on the fridge, they do stick but I doubt they'd hold anything up, I used a magnetic sheet you can cut but if I made any more I would use the type reccommended by she-grinch.
The boyf still liked them and really appreciated the exploding box so that's the main thing.
On to the next crafty thing!! Probably the felt rabbit I think...0 -
Does this link work anyone? It's the gold noel pot
