My notes say 'no penetrative sex' ~ maybe the Doc was having a bad day and decided to take it out on us  :rotfl:

I'll ask at my next scan in a fortnight though whether that still stands.

Its a standard rule "no sex with PP"
Maybe if the doc said "low lying" and didn't say no jiggy then its not covering the cervix just very close or sort of half covering it (redmel is that what urs was?)

OH and I have only got jiggy once since getting my +ive :o I was rampant in my last preg but not interested at all in this one - OH reckons he's going to sneak off for the snip then convince me to "try for another" so he'll get lots of it :rotfl: it wouldn't last very long I'd get suspicious if I didn't get preg very quickly as I did with my 2other pregs

Wonder if that's why they have mine down as PP, because it covers completely?

Either way, I hope it changes, cos me and Steve are gagging for it now (TMI sorry lol!). :rotfl: :rotfl:

Talking of photos, are you able to see this:

It was my understanding that that is a 'public' link and you can see it despite none of you being my friends?

    Am I mistaken?
Yeah how come you deleted me off your friends list, i realsied the other day and forgot to ask

At all my NHS scans, I've only ever gotten a print out, which I've then scanned in. At the private scans, I've had several pictures on a disk. Do you have a scanner? Scanning in a picture is quite a good way to preserve it.

    I've got a scan today!
How come you got a scan today?
    Good luck

    EDIT: just seen why.

Have you had your GTT today?

I've got mine the week after next. Steve wants to come with me because I've got a scan straight after it ~ will he be OK to come with me and is it boring because I read that you have to sit still for 2 hours  (is it worth us taking a book/magazine to pass the time?)
    Yes.
    It depends on your area.
here we just have to drink the lucozade then go to the blood testing dept at the hospital when the 2 hours is nearly up, no waiting around for 2 hours.
If you have to drink and wait 2 hours at the hospital i advise taking a book!

oh glad he was feeling well enough :D

my drink was 'flat'. different places must give you different drinks then. at least you dont have to spend the 2.5hours waiting at the hospital.
    I drank lucozade.....

  • Thank you all for your kind comments regarding Thomas . He is doing very well , taking 9mls of my milk every 2 hours and is tolerating it very well now , had problems with bile acid in the beginning but he did still have his umbilical line in at that time as well which doesn't help .
He now weighs 990 grams , which is approx 2lb 1.8ozs :j so he is putting the weight on , thankfully !
Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
    Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !
