Root canal...eeek! I have a feeling the hole is between two teeth so no able to be filled. Had to have the one the other side out a couple of years back as the same had happened
I have had the hole between two teeth on both sides (same place) recently. The first one I left for AGES and had to have a root canal. The dentist said I'd need a crown, but I got a second opinion, went elsewhere, and they took out the filling, re-filled where the root canal had been done, and reconstructed the tooth around what was left. It's fine.
The other side, I went as soon as I realised there was a problem, and had a small filling. It's uncomfortable because of the angle they do it at, but better to catch it early!
Be braveIn the middle of this I am going to stop thinking about the fact that at some point in the next 2.5 weeks I'm going to have to go through labour
Well TAG reckons she'd rather do that than go to the dentist, so it all depends on how you view the dentist :rotfl:0 -

Thanks! Was brave and made an appointment! It's gone dark so I think it's a huge hole which is a right pain. I've only got 23 teeth so don't want to loose too many :rotfl:
My enthusiasm has died away. Think one more load of washing and put tea on then I'll be done for the evening.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

I really really hate the dentist.:( All this talk of root canals is freaking me out (had to have one about 18 months ago and it still brings me out in a sweat!) Looks like labour might still be the better option!! At least you can't see them attacking you with weirdy metal instruments.... !!!
Just been looking through the smileys...why is this one here? :spam:Jonathan Douglas born 20th January 2009 - 9lb 4oz

Well done... when's the appointment? I expect your dentist will be cross with you for leaving it for so long, but hopefully they'll be able to save some of it.

Sometimes people post spam, e.g. plugging their own website/products, so when you post to say you've reported the post, you can use this smiley!
WM on, and I have cleaned out the outside freezer (forgot it was dirty...). The drawers are now drying, so I need to get a move on and do some cooking before it gets too cold & dark to traipse backwards and forwards to the garage! I have also boxed up two crates of carboot/freecycle stuff, freeing up my folding crates for shopping/using in the house again.
Still haven't sorted the study, but it'll have to be done soon or I won't be able to do the ironing!0 -
