  • "We appreciate your input here to this thread, but if you cared to read the difficulties that people have had by being forced to take another loan when already in debt."

I have read and i do sympathise with people, however people do need to take some responsibilty for their actions.

Forced to take a loan is a very strong phrase to use, at times amalgamation of debt into can be beneficial, not all the time but can be a step further away from an IVA or worse.

I would be interested to hear of your financial qualifications as i see you are a regular poster on here.

I have spent years and lots of money obtaining full FPC and CeMAP status and i am fully aware of the pros and cons of single premium policies.

Perhaps you would be enable to enlighten me as to where a high risk person (carpenter, rigger, scaffolder) would be able to get insurance to cover their loans wihout vigorous underwriting. Your monhtly premium policy may rise over the next year as you ahve no contract dictating a collar on your premium.

Please do not see this as a dig, i merely am trying to play devils advocate and separate the genuine people in need, who have been forced PPI and need financial and legal advice from those who are unwilling to take responsibility for their actions.

I have no financial training most probably just like yourself:rolleyes: . I don't believe I have ever said I have "financial training" but I do know a bit about the procedure of the PPI reclaiming and Ombudsman service and that is what I give help on. I don't call it advice as advice costs money....:D . I call it help and lots on here see it as help and win their claims.;)

GIve me some "pros of a single premium policy"....most on here are not "high risk people". They are mostly just the ordinary employed person with an ordinary employment record.

Dig all you want as I will not be put off helping others....

Please don't take this as a dig but are you losing money in this capacity maybe???

    Just a thought....

Oh and it states here at the top of the thread

  • oh, i also forgot to ask, this crusade against PPP, do you think of the human cost, the amount of jobs lost and will be lost as lenders are losing thousands of accounts to closure...

You stated you had no sympathy for the banks, but how about the everyday people who work for them, i.e Me and 160 other people in my company made redundant.

This relentless crusade hits everyday people on the other side of the fence as much if not more than the people claiming for mis sales.

Like i said i am not condoning mis selling of insurance, just want your views on adults taking responsibilty for their actions for once.

They were quick enough to spend the loan when they got it, no complaints then eh?

I lost my job becasue people who had entrered into a legal binding contract, decided not to pay, loan goes bad, company writes off debt, we lose our jobs.

What about FAMILIES losing their homes and having to give up pets etc to live in bed and breakfasts. Forgive me if I sound harsh but I believe in fairness all round... If the banks had been fair in the first place and not greedy then there would be no need to any of this. What goes around, comes around....
