    polish mirrors
    hoover floors

    wipe skirting boards
    make dinner (nearly done)

    [strike]make apple pie[/strike] used "best mince pie pastry ever" TM which is quite hard to work with, so the pie looks rustic, to say the least; lets hope it tastes better. Also needed to add some things..

    [strike]dry up and put away[/strike]

    Tonight i am going for a jog with DH :eek: my first ever! As a reward he is ordering me the shopping trolley I like from Lakeland! result!
    Goals: Have a Homemade Christmas 2008, lose a 1 and a half stone, be thankful for everything I have.

    This is the one that I've got and I love it. However it must be said that it doesn't work if you're not getting enough sleep! (which given some of your late posts I would suggest you're not!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) It starts half an hour before you're due to wake up, with a glow from the lamp, which gets brighter to simulate sunrise. Then at your chosen alarm time whatever noise you've set to wake you (radio, birdsong etc) will kick in really quietly, gradually getting louder over a few mins.

    The idea is not to wake you with a jolt, and to prevent you hitting the snooze over and over - which just gives you broken sleep for however long you do it for!

    The light stops the production of melatonin, and stimulates cortisol production, while you're still asleep, so that you shouldn't wake up feeling groggy. :cool:

    However, it does not negate the need for sleep!!!! :p So given what you've described about your difficulty waking, I'd suggest that the problem is perhaps more to do with bedtime than wake time!!! :D:D:D

    It takes a few attempts I think to get it right for you, but I love it, and wouldn't be without it. My DH used to be a snooze button addict..... I HATE the snooze button. He doesn't use it now, but gets up when the radio wakes him. ACE :D

    I do actually have naps during the day.. like snacking on sleep!! lol.. hence I stay up silly late.. I sleep like the dead but can get up for anything.. apart from school!!

    I am used to dealing with nutballs so she was a walk in the park.. her daughter (the one with the nose) was VERY VERY polite to me today in the playground.. ;) .. wonder if it was something I said?!

    Afternoon all just a flying post (dont' want to be reported AWOL).

    Got a call to go into work this morning so have just finished my dalies.

    Afternoon for helping in DS3 class, I was going to miss it with all the invigilating I have this week but he was really upset when I told him so I'll go in for the last hour of the day.

    Going to make a cuppa and hoover and mop downstairs before I go.

    Catch up with you later but Chocolate buttons to all who want/need one.
