How is everyone?
Been continuing the distraction thing today. Have got 20 things listed to go on ebay, although the 5p listing that was popping up the last few times i logged on doesn't seem to be kicking in when I calculate the fees. I've also taken about another 30 photos, which I'm hoping to do the listings for this evening.
Spent the morning starting on the Quidco free offers list, which will be £31.50 if it all tracks, and I'm only up to F!
Have also sold 10 items today on amazon. They're all ones I put up last night which is good in one way as I don't have to trapse to the end of the garden to get them out the shed, but bad in another cos the ones in the shed seem to have just hit a wall on the sales front and there are boxes and boxes of them!
I'm finding it incredibly hard without OH here, never felt this bad when he's not here before. On the one hand it's making me go all out on the debt busting to keep myself busy, on the other hand it's just rubbish feeling like this! He's been quite busy today seeing his mum, then his brother, and he's out for a meal tonight for his best mate's birthday, so haven't even spoken to him all that much. If it wasn't so bleeding freezing I would head downstairs and get a glass of wine and a gu choccie souffle, but as it is I'm too cold so I'm sticking with my tea!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yey the 5p fees worked :T. Managed to get 29 Ebay items done, uploaded them before it got too late, now I'm working on getting some more done before bedtime to go up tomorrow night. Also sold another 2 items on Amazon. Turns out dad saw my two dvds I had already parcelled up on the table and posted them for me this morning, which was lovely of him. Still no call off OH, although I would be very surprised if he was home from a meal by 8.30.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Okay if I see another Ebay advert I think I might scream! Have listed another 11 today but I'm hugely hitting a wall. Only thing keeping me going is that I want to get debt free for OH, and when we look at getting our own place somewhere down the line I don't want all this clutter, want a nice fresh start. Keep looking at the advert for the new builds around here, it's like some kind of terrible temptation, I know in every possible way it would be the wrong decision to buy one, but the idea of having our own space, and a big 4 bed space at that, for under £500 a month, insanely tempting!
Sold 2 more things on amazon overnight but nothing more today. Should still be about £50 on the next amazon payment. Tried logging in to check the mystery shopping boards but for some reason I don't see to be able to get Retail Eyes to login. Doesn't say my details are incorrect or anything, just doesn't go to another page just straight back to the unlogged in welcome page.
Did everyone else have a nice weekend?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Lovely weekend here thank you! Apart from the rubbish weather. of course - I bought myself a woolly hat for my December trip to prague today and am wearing it now to boost my body temp! You seem to be bearing up well, you're obviously going to feel at a bit of a loss as he's been over so long but keeping busy is the best thing, especially as it's so profitable. What's this about free quidco offers? I always thought you had to buy something. Off to have a look...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Nope there are loads of free offers on quidco. I've joined 3 quidclans - MSE, 1st for freebies and Quidco's current no spent offers, they all have a list of favorite links, and between the 3 of them i think they cover most of them. I keep a spreadsheet so i know what offer i did, and if i need to take any further action eg cancel a free trial.
Oooh you'll have to let me know what prague is like, OH and I were considering going for a romantic weekend as there seems to be good deals there sometimes.
I spent all weekend in bed to keep warm, that and I just didn't want to get up! Been feeling miserable without OH. I sent an email to a friend who lives abou 1hr and a half away asking if she was free next weekend at all. She's been my friend since we were about 4, but we only see one another every 2 months or so. She just got married in September, so she's a happy shiny person at the moment, and I think I need that to pick me up at the moment.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi Dinah
Fantastic diary I've just had a good read and now I must go to bed! Well done you're doing so well, what an inspiration.
S xxx:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0 -
Morning all
Well OH finds out the classification of his degree today hopefully, which will affect where he can do the solicitors training qualifications, or if he gets a place at all, so its fair to say I'm a bag of nerves.
£25 more off the debt this morning as my direct debit to CC2 came out.
Have my big bag with all 15 games, dvds and books I sold over the weekend in it to post at lunchtime. Took forever to wrap them last night, so went down and did it while watching top gear with my dad.
Should be booking OH's ticket for next time he comes over today, just wanted to check I could take the 17th as a flexi day so he can stay a day longer (I can, yey!).
My marathon ebay session has hit a snag, one of my listings has been pulled for 'keyword spamming'. What was the description of the offending item?
'Nearly new patent cream topshop sandals 6/39'
Anyone want to play spot the spam?! Apparently it was 'nearly new'! Are they taking the mick?! Sorry, little worked up over that oneDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hiya,
Any word about how your OH got on yet? I'll keep my fingers crossed for him!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Was briefly more positive. OH got his results back and they weren't what we hoped for, which is rubbish, but hopefully he'll get a place on another course, just not the one he wanted.
Still trying to work up the courage to go out in the cold to post all the parcels!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
