Thanks nikki, all printed out for next weeks meal plan :). And a use for those fancy little chorizo balls I treated me to last week (was wondering what they were going to be for!).
My DS loves peas and sweetcorn so this is sure to be a hit with him too :D.

  • My whole menu plan for last week went horribly wrong:eek: , I hate it when that happens:rolleyes: ....... I hate having sick kids more tho:p :D

Fri - HM Pizza and salad

Sat - Hot dogs, well proper sausages on a roll, we dont like the tinned sausages and HM wedges

Sun - Roast chicken dinner with all the trimmings

    Mon - Chicken curry

Tues - I'll have chicken left over and left over sausage, I will have a go at making jambalya, it sounds like a meal my whole family would eat. Can it be done in the slow cooker? Or a pan on the hob?

Wed - jacket spuds and spag bol in freezer

    Thurs - cheese toasties.
I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you :p

:p would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing :o

I really am shameful at the mo cos have been buying things that would usually be HM - hopefully I shall perk up soon tho ;)

Friday: Tikka Masala* with spinach and naans
Sat: Roasted veg lasagne (will freeze half to save effort next week  )
Sun: Going to in-laws for dinner
Mon: Roasted veg with rice slopped with soy sauce (mmm...) Might be able to deal with a cod portion there too - will see
Tues: Bought pizza and HM wedges - will also top the pizza with extra mush and courgette tho
Wed: Pasta in Wild Mushroom Sauce * with extra mush and courgette added
Thurs: Hotch potch with baked beans

    * Hoping the Lloyd Grossman sauces are still on special in Asda!

Breakies have been pancakes and banana; lunches a wrap filled with whatever is lurking about, followed by an apple. Snacks usually peanut butter on toast in the afternoons - occasionally popcorn in the evening. Water to drink.
