Decided to take the forms to Wigan Housing office in person so that's a job done and we're (in theory) one step closer to moving ;)

Christmas must be coming, I've just got a studio catalogue :rotfl:

So my list looks like this (done stuff deleted) :

Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
    Level 3
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself

Tuesday Chuck!- Master Bedroom & Landing

    Level 1
Make any appointments you have been putting off and catch up on phone calls you need to make! How many of you actually made that smear appointment??? I am going to nag.. and nag .. and nag..
    Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Sort through a cupboard and fling everything that is dead
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    1. attack those naughty spider housing estates!!
    2. Clean windows in these rooms
    3. Clear out your sweaters.. how many are fit for making into draught excluders?
Wednesday Washdown- Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
    Clean oven and hob
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Wipe all the windows in these areas!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Wipe out a dirty cupboard... get rid of everything you no longer need and make it all pretty and tidy!
    Extra Mission : help yourself
    1. clean any spillages in the fridge
    2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    3. Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET
Thursday Thrills- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level Two
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
    Extra mission: Take your pick!
    1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    2. Fling all those empty bottles and tubes

    2. Wipe the skirtings and window & door frames!
    3. HHI
    Also :
    • Update food inventory.
    • Tea
and whatever else I think of...

Going to put tea on soon..... meatballs in bolognese sauce :D
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Wow, that was fun... my first HHC as I am usually too late when you post... Didn't do tooo bad, did the following:

    Made my bed
Put a cake in the oven (takes 2 hours to cook...)
Tuesday Chuck!- Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 3
Sort through a cupboard and fling everything that is dead Finally sorted hubbys wardrobe out (have to do it while he's out...;) ) so there is now a pile on the bed that I want to throw and when he sees how nice his wardrobe looks now, and how he can see at a glance what is there he will definitly throw them - and if he doesn't they're not going back in - I'm going to put them in a black bag in the garage and tell him that if he REALLY wants one then he can go in there to get it then! (ooooh, hope I manage to get that all out... :rotfl: )
    Extra tasks list
Clear out your spare linen.. all those holey sheets, manky duvet covers and stained pillow cases.. FLING!! - have everything out and have thrown a black sack already! still towels to go through but most of bedding done...

Ooooh, feel a lot lighter now, it's amazing how invigorating a throwout can be...:D right, off to attack those towels and the rest of the bedding then onto the bathroom I think........

My bedroom is all done, my next HCC is to sort the box of books thats cluttering up the bedroom.

Back from my HHC, bit late but more jobs done;) . Kiddies room all tidy till they get home:rolleyes: . Sorted through the uniform stuff I have already bought, made a list of a couple of bits I could do with extras of and have named all their stuff.

Filing I have decided can be done over the weekend unless I get a burst of energy after having a cuppa. Am running out of stream now. Had back ache all day but it now seems to have moved to my kidneys so not sure if I have got an infection on the way:confused: , not something I have ever suffered from but its just a constant ache.

I need to get some bits from the shop for tea and DH asked me to get him some cash out and he needs to get his hair cut in the morning. Can I just go to bed instead now please:o .

Gosh Toots - even in a tiny font that is one huge list!
And thats not even half of it - I only wrote down 50 (now 41) but i am getting nowhere - i am not even managing pigpen's list now - I just feel hopeless - it will never be any different. the bits i do manage to do are ok but there is so much that needs doing anything I do manage is lost IYSWIM.
I feel really frustrated today and now I am crying and I hate feeling sorry for myself. I just dont know where to start.
    Toots xx
    Peace will be mine

You should get that checked, and start drinking plenty of water too, that really helps... ;)

Arrrrh Toots have a hug - I feel like that - I haven't stopped for days and there is still so much cleaning of the floor/surfaces to do, so much stuff to put back and I haven't done a thing in the rest of the house all week.

Going to see if the small part I have washe is dry to polish and then on to the next patch.
