Ordered from googles4u. Came in 7days! Unfortunately they were broken as the box was a bit crushed. Emailed them and they said they'd send out a replacement pair . Will let you all know how it goes0

Plus Points- Arrived in good time, Low cost, spare nose rests & screws, Frames good looking.
Minus Points - Edges of lens are not polished, prescription wrong on one side, lenses are like bottle tops, Case too large for glasses (They will get marked if they move about too much).
I have had TWO pairs from https://www.spex4less.com
Plus Points - both pairs are exactly correct prescription, look good, low cost, staff are very helpful and will do their utmost to assist, freephone number.
Minus Points - None
You pay a little more for glasses, especially semi rimless, but I do feel peace of mind counts for a lot.

Is there any companies where you can send your old glasses to and have new lenses fitted?
Cant convince the wife to buy glasses from internet companies but would send of her old pair for new lenses.0 -

They came within 7 days and were fantastic.I've since recommeded them to other friends and family, some of whomhave also ordered and have been delighted.
They came through the door and were very well packaged.

My goggles 4u second pair - Ordered just a week ago arrived today.
Got a Gucci hard case this time which in itself is probably worth a few pounds at least.
First impressions.- OK - noticed the nose rests are not symmetrical - - However this doesn't affect the look as they look perfectly straight when I wear them. Doesn't seem to affect their use or appearance.
Again can't argue with the value and build quality for around £12.

After reading this thread I ordered some semi rimless glasses with ultra thin lenses from Optical4less.com . They took about 2 weeks to arrive and are lovely. They cost about £60, inc delivery from Hong Kong. They look exactly like the picture, and I'm very happy with them.Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams
