What can I do with 2lbs of plums?

My neighbour kindly gave me about 2.5lbs off plums of their tree. Apart from eating them as they are can you recommend something I can do with them as I do not wish to waste any of them. Something simple would be a bonus.

They also freeze really well for use in pies etc later. Also easy to make jam from frozen plums (weigh them before freezing)0

Plum chutney, there's a good recipe in Delia's Complete Cookery Course.
I would freeze them too, you can make chutney from frozen plums;)

Go round the plums with a knife then twist and take out the stone, put the plums into a bag and freeze them in a plastic bags.......use later for either jam or crumble.
