Bearing in mind that I don't have any scales or electrical gadgets and have no idea how to estimate anything.
Not had pancakes in ages and really fancy some for some reason. The last time I had them they were shop bought.
I'd be happy if I managed to make something edible but knowing my luck. Only want to make 2 or 3.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Two level tablespoons of milk, two of water, add an egg and whizz them together. Then add two level tablespoons of PLAIN flour and mix to a smooth consistency. Leave it to rest for a while before cookingHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Is there a best way to 'whizz' without using anything electrical? Will using a fork do?0

That'd be hard work, but yes it will. Don't you have any sort of hand whisk at all? The simplest ones of all are very cheap. Try putting the mixture in a container with a lid and shake it vigorouslyWarning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
Bear in mind that the first pancake is always a disaster,it'll taste ok but look terrible.Don't be put off.0

Oh, and I forgot to say that if your mixture makes more pancakes than you need at the time - the extras will freeze just fine and save for another day.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Thanks for that, its great to know that the mixture will freeze.
Haven't got round to making any today as my back hurts too much so I can't get down the stairs and wouldn't be able to stand at the cooker or do any mixing.
As soon as I can though, I will def make them as pancakes are yummy.0
