Ooh Little Bill your a star, I want to go too but obviously  don't want to pay full price.

I did try being cheeky and emailed a few companies that have stands at the show to see if they had a ticket or two spare ;) but no joy.

    Will keep on the lookout.

Bit of advice I've picked up, try to get a couple of big bags , maybe a rucksack type of thing to carry the samples and freebees and of course MOC's that will be available.:D

Also, I'm not sure whether to go to the last day of the show, simply because it may not be so frantic, dunno, haven't decided yet.

I may look at the London one as this seems to have discounts for tix too.

This still seems a tiny discount though considering I will pay £8 for parking .. .. my sandwich sized car

    LittleTicketlessBill ... :^)

This annoys me the fact that it cost 8 quid to park.

Does anyone have any ideas to avoid. This? It doesnt help thats its in the middle of no where!!

One thought I have had is to park at a local train station, where there is free parking and train it!!! There are good links by train to birmingham international.

Or maybe it is cheaper to park at Birmingham Airport???

If I find any good ideals/ideas. I will post here.

Just rang the above number for a quote for a family ticket as you can take 2 children under 16 in free on 2 adult tickets, using code OMS it was £17.50 per adult with no booking fee to pay.:j

The family tickets are for saturday and sunday only. But thats when the beer festival is on, so methinks thats when I'll be going.

Great minds and all that ... I tried to blag some tickets but only got polite no's ...

Parking somewhere else would be a good option ... I do not know the place at all and will be relying on my good friend 'Sean' the Irish SatNav to guide me into the landing strip ...

I do think it is well worth it for what you will pick up ... a rucksack is a great idea ... should we have a MS base camp in the car park too ... :rotfl: ... Ranulph Feinnes eat your heart out

    LB

PS ... I have called the pricey hotline and they said they could not do me any better that £15.50 with no booking fee ... It does sound to me like the offer has got slightly better by them dropping the booking fee now ... Did anyone buy any late tickets last year?
