Hi..yes! It's fab..all the best bits of glastonbury without the drunken rowdy yobs..lol
It's very family oriented and well organised. There is more than enough room for camping so everyone is nicely spaced out.
We are hoping to go this year, but as we have a small baby we will only be goig on a day ticket.

Looks good, you've got me interested now!

My OH and I get married at the end of June and were a biit upset that we can't afford to go on honeymoon. Having looked at the prices here though, £160 for us both for the week (OH is disabled) you may just have saved us!

Now trying to price up cheap train tickets down!

    Yep.

I noticed a thing on the FAQ page though, that some people opt for B&b's instead, and can pass freely out and in.

    Tempted?

I would be, only I'm a-hankering for a cath kidston pop flowers 3 person tent. Fantastic!

I did wonder if it would be a bit too 'dark green' for me, as I am only in the shallows of green-ness at present, I'm not - as yet - into drumming, goddesses and the like, but this time next year I could be.

we could have a mini MSE meet there, the money saving environmentalists, would Martin come do you think?

The first year it was held was in my village. It was a nightmare and a small minority of the green, eco-friendly people attending the event left the village in a hell of a state.

In subsequent years it has been held at a farm above Cheddar Gorge on the top of the Mendip hills. It has been less problematic and very popular. It hasn't caused us any problems whatsoever. Some of the immediate neighbours (NIMBY's) aren't too happy but the event is generally well received in the area and local business welcomes the boost in trade from some of the attendees.

I hope to be able to attend for one of the days this year for the first time.

    Mike
