I freeze the whole pizza made up but not cooked. When I want it for that day I take it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge in the morning, then it's ready to go straight in the oven when I get in.0

Yes you can freeze beef stew.
Most people find that it's best to freeze dough after the first rise and then allow it the second rise when defrosting. As to whether you roll it out before freezing or just leave it in a ball is really up to you.

for the days when peeling veg just seems too too much, I prep carrots/swede/quartered onions/parsnips - anything roastable really - I parboil/steam for about 5 minutes, get them pretty dry, drizzle with oil and pack in portions in the freezer. these then get roasted from frozen as easy veg when I'm cooking a dinner in the oven. You can get all posh and drizzle them with a bit of honey, throw in some rosemary or thyme or whatever if you're in the mood! A good way of using up veg that would otherwise be on its way out.0

I cant believe I hadnt thought of doing this! & I freeze anything that doesnt crawl away:rotfl:
I will remember this when doing sunday lunch tomorrow as I always get loads of offers of help peeling the veg so can use the help to 'batch' 'roasties'I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I KnowSupermarket Rebel No 19:T0 -
I usually go by the theory of if I can buy it frozen I can make it and freeze it myself
Mince can be handy just fried off ready to use in anything, bolognese sauce can be very versatile used to make spag bol, lasagne, canneloni etc but also easily spiced up and beans added to make a chilli. I prefer to keep my freezer as versatile as possible, I will reserve some beef stew without the veg to make into steak pie. Cooked chicken pieces to make sandwiches, curry, italian chicken etc. Pastry tops, cooked then frozen make a quick and easy 'open pie'.
If I have spuds ready to turn I make a load of mashed potato and freeze it. I freeze left over yorkshires as long as DS2 doesn't find them first. I freeze left overs from a roast. I freeze the veg aswell, when I think about it 2 weeks ago we had a full roast dinner that was ready in about 10 minutes :rotfl: It's sort of a free meal as previous to OS I'd have flung it all or gave the dogs it. We had chicken, beef and turkey just bits of each which were left over (well ok the turkey is just me trying to feed everyone a bit at a time to use it up!) Oh we had stuffing too, another left over.
My only complaint is I now need 2 freezersbecause like others I will freeze just about anything.
One day I might be more organised...........
