I joined easymobile from day one and very happy they lowered the prices, Voice calls now slashed down to 6p per minute and text 2p, remember that opening offer until end of Jun. However I cannot see them go back to the standard 15p per min/5p text due to increase competition as the other network operators may reduce their tariff. :T0 -
I can. They'll just get lots of new customers hooked because of the promotional rates who will then be stuck with their phone numbers. We might end up with a slight decrease overall but not all calls/SMSs suddenly halving in price permanently.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

Hiya,
I'm going to be here for a while trying my best to set the facts right about easyMobile.com
Our aim is very simple, we want to exceed our customers expectations and to give them the best deal that we can, we have no intentions of hooking customers for any other reason than our outstanding customer service and our great value for money tariffs, our customers are free to leave us when ever they like and we even give them back their remaining credit over £5 (havent seen that offered on the market before) and i think that just proves how confident we are.0 -
An Official Representative - How Nice. So essentially, What's the Story? From my Understanding it is basically a very competitive Pay as you Go service - designed to compliment or replace a contract phone?
Any special deals for Money Saving Expert users?!
How long is that big price cut gonna last (forever?)
Any signed contract period or if I am unhappy can I just PAC away?!0 -

Can we see easymobile taking on likes of o2? I get 800mins and 2000texts for £45 a month on a 30 day contract, that even beats 3 deals handsdown!
nice to have an offical here too, WELCOME!If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:

EasyMobile Rep:
Your going to have to do something REAL nice to convince me, at 6p a minute times 750 minutes = 45 quid, I pay 35 quid for 750 minutes on 3...
It's good for the casual phone user but at the LEAST you'll have to waive the tenner sign up fee - then I'll consider it.
EasyMobile Rep: How much leverage do you have in giving out SPECIAL tariffs and such? I would be interested if you could work out a VERY special deal for all MSE users . I have just finished the 12 Month's with 3 and I can't stand their Indian Call Center so I am going to move, SeaniBoy's O2 Deal sounds Brilliant. Shame I don't text that much anymore... But In the first instance, waive the tenner sign up fee and some free credit then I'll PAC both my accounts onto you.
Also - "Personal number services 22p per minute
This is if you call a personal number service. e.g. chat or special diverting numbers. " What's the Story?! Will 0774 497 4333 (My most dialled number) be counted as that too?! If that is so then no deal whatsoever.0 -
I don't think your comparison is fair. For one thing, if you don't use all those minutes a month then you still pay the same - i.e. the minutes you do use become progressively more expensive. For another, if you use more than those minutes then you suddenly start to pay. In practice you're never going to hit this sweet spot so you don't actually pay "35 quid for 750 minutes" at all. I'd be very interested to know how much people really do pay per minute compared with the purely theoretical headline figure used to persuade them to sign up to the contract.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I'mma just waiting on Rep to get back to me - I'mma needing to move soon - Got My PAC codes, dying to use them.0

Hi all, Thanks for the response.
I'm going to start at the beginning and work my way down the list hopefully answering all questions.
We are offering a very basic package 15p per minute for calls 5p per text at the moment we have an offer of 60% off, this is until the end of June at least. I would love to be able to offer cheaper rates for all you guys but that is not something we can do at the moment we want a fair service that everyone can benefit from.
We are not trying to take on O2 or the likes of as we do not offer contracts only PAYG we are unfortunately unable to offer any free minutes or SMS messages. This also means that at anytime you find a better deal or are unhappy with the service you can just ring us and get you PAC code, we will even refund any credit over £5 back to your card we are that confident.
We actually do not charge anything to sign up but you do need to open you account with £10 this is then all credit on your account and by personal numbers we mean personal in the adult services kind of way not your most dialled number.
I hope I have managed to cover anything here, I will be trying to get on here daily so questions don't go unanswered but please be nice

Dearest Rep:
I think you should private message an MSE manager and get a sticky done for you - so all questions and concerns can be addressed in there as opposed to 2 different posts and perhaps subsequently more when popularity does (if it will increase)
So the tenner starting pack is actually also buying ten pounds in credit also? So I am good to go when I start insert the sim and power on?
Also, you've yet to address "Personal number services 22p per minute
This is if you call a personal number service. e.g. chat or special diverting numbers. " What's the Story?! Will 0774 497 4333 (Simply Fone My most dialled number) be counted as that too?! If that is so then no deal whatsoever."
