Weekend 3rd/4th October - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Well good morning everyone
I thought I was too late to start the thread today but everyone must be having a lie in too:rotfl:
Hi again to all you regulars
and
to any new posters.
It's dull and rather autumnal here today, but at least it's Saturday
After the excitement of my student loan going in yesterday, I went to town with DD2 and bought myslef a lovely new pair of boots - I do think I'm allowed though as I haven't bought any for 3 years. Bought a tanktop for work too in M+S, only £12 - must get selling on ebay to make up for it!
Off to my sister's later for the night, after I've taken DD2 to gymnstics and DD1 has returned from her pals. So....today's list:

Have a fab day everone - enjoy the weekend!

Morning All,
Morning Milly – almost had a duplicate thread again today (I have put a note on my one saying duplicate….see Milly’s thread)
Morning Katy – enjoy your toast
Morning Sophiesmum – good luck with the decluttering
Hello to everyone who posts today. ***waves***** frantically at everyone
Today I have/will:
• Checked online banking – moved money around
• Have an NSD – apart from monthly food shopping which is budgeted for
• Enter comps online
• Put a jumper on rather than putting the heating on …..brrrrr it is really cold
• I will make sure that I have me time today – possibly watch a film while doing some of my party outfit for a fancy dress party later this year
• I will sit down and devise a meal plan combining Weight Watchers and Low GI
didn’t so this last weekend
• I will print out meal plan for mum for info (she needs help sometimes) –--- see above
• I will continue to drink water (filtered from a tap) rather than squash or coffee
• I was MIA yesterday….work things were a bit mad, so I had to take some time out for me, so I need to read up on yesterday’s thread
•
I am sure there will be other things, but for now, this is it – take care everyone

Yep, I am one of those lazy people who had a lie in
First day of my week off work :T
Today I have / will:
HM breakfast (done, just)
Check online banking
See to animals
Go through cupboards, freezers and fridge to list what I have (this might take longer than just today :rotfl:) and plan meals accordingly.
Post book sold on Green Metropolis
Clean house
Make some marmalade as OH has run out and is complaining about having to have nice HM damson jelly on his breakfast toast (apparently it is not for breakfast, it is for scones )
Small shop, but see above about checking stores etc - but I do need some dog and cat food.
Start to think about cleaning up greenhouse after summer growing season and think what might grow in the winter - lettuce perhaps.
Frittata for supper to use up eggs, chorizo and parmesan that I know are lurking.
That will probably do me for the weekend - I am on holiday after all :rotfl:0 -
