Pigpen I hope you don't have to wait too long till you hear about baby Tabitha, will be keeping everyone in my thoughts.
Jennybee congratulations on the new arrival.
Triker hope your mouth is getting back to normal and the pain is easing now. Are you still looking to buy Yankee tarts? I use www.yankeedoodle.co.uk to buy all my Yankee candle stuff, they are brilliant and very efficient with delivery.
Johanne I have what my Dr calls mild ME, it certainly isn't as bad as some people get it. I am not bed bound and can walk thankfully, although now and again I do have to use my walking stick if my hip starts to hurt. But it is debilitating none the less. What I have noticed is that I get extremely tired during the day and have to have a nap, of say an hour, just to get myself rejuvenated for the rest of the day. Also I notice that if I hurt something, for example my foot which isn't healing, it takes absolutely forever to heal, and I bruise a lot. Please don't disregard ME if you feel this is what you have after the blood tests etc.. My lovely doctor used to say to me "listen to your body" as we are the best people to know what is wrong etc.. I think the Dr was wrong to say that you was a hypochondriac, surely they shouldn't say that sort of thing. If it was me I would be changing Dr's after that. *Hugs*
AnW'smum huge *hugs* hon, your MIL sounds a right wotsit. Although in some way by not contacting you maybe it was her way of not actually facing up to the fact that it was her son's birthday, although this doesn't help you as you want the support and want to know that she is there for you. Unfortunately this can happen.. But no contact at all since A's birthday, and not to even acknowledge W's birthday..hmmm very strange.
    Happy Anniversary Rach :)
Welcome to all the newbies :j
:mad:Why do the different birds decide to come in the garden now and not yesterday when we did the RSPB bird watch thing..we now have a bluetit that we don't normally see as well as a greenfinch.. All we saw at the weekend were loads of sparrows and starlings, there doesn't seem to be a decline of these in my garden, Hoodie (the blackbird's nickname) and Mrs Hoodie (blackbird's mate!), Asbo (the resident robin) and the collared doves that live in the garden.

TAG - positive vibes for OH & your sanity!

Breakfast made & eaten, fruit & yogurt added to work food supply (I need lunch, plus something before I leave so I get through yoga & pilates without keeling over!).

Meters read and imeasure and supplier updated.

Just need to wash and dress, and be out of the house in approx 20 mins... good thing I don't do my makeup until I get there . If only I could decide what to wear...

    Morning all

Have decided to work from home this morning until I meet my volunteer at 12.30 before our group this aft. I should go in and pick up the first aid kit but i'll take the chance I think (have never needed it yet!). I need to leave the house just before 11am to catch my train. I'd only have had 2 hours in the office so may as well do 2 hours work in the comfort of my home, cuts down on my travel which is always a good thing!

soappie you reminded me I only have a 4 day week too as I've booked Friday off and am meeting my best mate. :)

Will also try and fly a bit this morning as won't want to and I am determined to keep on track this week. Will edit in a moment with my list.

so far I have altered the kitchen clock which has been a couple of minutes slow for a while!

Morning, well at the mo I do not feel too bad, but didn't get to bed until 3am and then didn't sleep for ages, took a painkiller round that time so it may be the effects of that.

    Dr's appointment at 11.

Tag good luck vibes for your OH coming your way hun.

Filled out DD1's form for heer NI card which I'd lost months ago, awaiting to be posted.

Going to ring manager and play it by ear re work. Got to be realistic really though I feel guilty for having so much time off. But catch 22, can't drive on the painkillers, can't not take the painkillers, plus stll feel as weak as a kitten when the pain takes hold.

    i hate rainy weekends
i can't take the kids anywhere outside and i certainly won't take them anywhere inside - packed with hordes of kids
so we are mostly stuck indoors. or sometimes if neighbours are home they can go and visit them for a little while ...
so understandably they are bored most active!!!!!
which means i have to shout more than usual :o

The third one (you'll like this!!!) couldn't come last Monday, as she had been sent home from work with severe back ache (doc had told her it was muscular). She said she would come and see me on Tuesday and would have completed in 2 hours. She was in agony, pacing the floor and in tears, so I sent her home. Her mother said she couldn't wait for her planned hospital appointment at 4 o'clock, took her straight there and half an hour later she had a 5lb baby girl! :T

Blimey Pink, you nearly had an extra person to evaluate there!!! How on earth was you supposed to do anything in a situation like that - what do they want, blood??? I know you can't win in their eyes, but to me, you were right, so good on you! and good luck with all these applications, hope you get something soon x...

Did my paperwork last night...:j even though I'm tired now as it was a late night again - was going back to bed, but thought it best to stay up again - I will kick this habit!... anyway, list now looks like this... lots to do... GREENBEE, could you help me with Item 5 please? I know you said freezer, but can't remember if I am supposed to discharge it first? It's really annoying me as it's only lasting about 30 minutes...
