    Morning all.

Well a disappointing 1/2 lb on for the end of the challenge. I haven't made one of my targets yet! Not sure why the gain this week as I don't think I've done anything different. I've a couple of busy social weekends coming up so will do my best without being a party pooper. I assume the next challenge will take us to Xmas and I intend to be at target by then.

More clothes culling needed this weekend, particularly underwear. Not being well endowed at the best of times, my bras are now too big and very unflattering. I've hung on as long as I can but need to get fitted properly as I've no idea what size I am.

Well done to the losers, keep going strugglers, have a good week all.
  • Oh TIE sounds awful, are you sure it was a gluten thing? There are a lot of tummy bugs going around at the mo.

Those cakes look delish GT - not a bad fee for the job!

Esmy - have a try of this bra size calculator (link) - and measure your bust while bending over letting everything hang. Don't be alarmed at the size it gives you, just have a try of some bras in that size or thereabouts (if you go a cup size up, go a back size down, e.g 32C = 34B more or less). I went from wearing a 36A to a 32DD (without surgery!) and have a way better fit! I don't 'look' like a DD at all, but that's because so many of us are in the wrong size bra that our perception of a DD is actually more like a HH or something.

    Here endeth the boob sermon.

  • Well last night I went out for tea and had boeuf bourguignon and a creme brulee and a glass of wine.

However I'm trying a new tactic which is starting my Day 1 on a Saturday, immediately after weigh-day on Friday. Yes I know that's what you're SUPPOSED to do, but as may or may not be evident by my faltering progress, I've thus far just been ignoring the weekends, so essentially only SW-ing for four days a week.

So, food diary out, planner out!

    Today:
B - Porridge with 50/50 milk and water, cinnamon and 1 syn sugar
    D - Kedgeree
T - Carbonara made with free fromage frais
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Oats
Syns - Sugar on porridge and in drinks (4), hot chocolate (4), maybe some cheese on my carbonara (1/2? Will have to weigh it and see) = 10

*I know there's not 1/3 Speed today. This week I'm just concentrating on sticking to plan, keeping within my syns, and drinking more water. I will concentrate on speed proportions next week.

Believe me, there'll be nothing much hanging! I'll give it a go so thanks for that. Many moons ago I was taught to measure for M&S but I've never been convinced by the outcome for me.

Pretty sure it’s a reaction as all the usual symptoms! Tum is making some very loud noises, have had to turn tv up :rotfl:

Well I've just done the measurements....reckons 34F!!! The first bra I ever had was a 34. I'm wearing 38D at the moment. Think a trying on session required....

Stay openminded!! Mine came out as a 30E but they just seemed to have too much material around the armpits, so I sized down in the cup and up in the back and they're perfect!

EDIT - BTW you need to be trying them on on the loosest fastening, so that as the bra gets older and less elasticated, you can move up the fastenings to keep it tight for longer.

:hello: back from a couple of days with family and pleased to report that I kept more or less within syns.:D My SIL offered (by accident) SW friendly options and I was out at lunchtime yesterday (snacked on cockles:drool:) so other than some wine on Thursday I did OK.

:T to all those losers in the past couple of days. Well done.

I'll need to do my meal plan and shop today so will come back later and post menu.:)
  • Afternoon all.

WI today resulted in sts but given the amount of syns I ate it was a good result ....though I did try to l seen the damage by going swimming this morning before class lol.

Seems like this is another challenge where I've missed my target .....but onwards & upwards as they say.

My aims for this week are to keep up the drinking of water & go swimming...or if I don't go wear the weighted vest !

I did muck up the chart last week as it appears I forgot to record Deja Vu's loss so apologies DV!

Anyway the super hero aka Kathrynha is back in charge so the chart will be right on Tuesday!
