Yay! Well done Mr FBO. More chill time FBO.0 -
Well done Mr FBO, must be a big relief for you.
I really want that puppy! That's the type of dog I would get, full of spirit but not too big. Sadly I work fairly long hours but one day I shall retire!
Lovely afternoon here, I've just strimmed in the back garden and cut the grass (again). Put a wash on when I got home, it should almost dry.
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow Nelski.0 -

Nannywindow....love the puppy, Mossy would love to tumble around with him.
Its been a nice day here, cloudy but lots of blue and temperature in the late teens, at my knitting group this morning and then home to stake plants and cook dinner.....satisfying day......knitting now until bedtime.
Well done Mr FBO.
Hester, the boat is looking lovely......well done.
Looking forward to going to Bloom on Sunday ( our version of Chelsea) with DD1, DDIL1&2, havent been for a few years, hope that the feet will hold out!
My favourite home cure for a cough is honey, lemon, thyme in boiling water......lots of thyme.

Dear Nels ,think of it as you paying your respects to your Dad and not that he is gone ,but how glad you were to have him in your life.
My late OH's cousin did a reading at my OH's funeral, and he was a funeral director ,but he wobbled a bit talking about his 'cuz and partner in crime' who he had known for over 60 years. No one thought it was odd or lacking respect ,in fact it was the opposite ,it showed how much he loved and thought of him.
I will be thinking of you tomorrow honey and I wish you a peaceful day and concentrating on just being there for your Mum will help you focus. A sad day but this too shall pass and you will look back and be glad you could do this last thing for him.Take careof yourself and make sure you eat properly.Much love your 'adopted' Mum in Kent xxx
Well chums our friend is going to have a tough day tomorrow, but I'm sure we all wish her peace
The audio clinic actually was pretty good, and I came out with a smart new Siemens hearing aid, and the thing I noticed most was how I could hear the birds singing.
Apparently because of the higher tones, this is quite normal when you first get one fitted .It's great that I can hear so much better, and my DGS all thought it was 'cool' and were pleased for me.
Their birthday presents have been cash, as they are now at the age when they want to buy their own taste in things which makes life so much easier
:).
Tomorrow my DDs last little 'baby' will become a teenager, the time has gone so quickly and we will be all celebrating with dinner tomorrow night plus cake of course, then again on Saturday when our 'enry turns 16.I have looked after all four boys plus their sister since Mikey was 3 and DD went back to work, and enjoyed it immensely. They have all turned into really nice caring young men whom I am very proud of
Right time to make a cuppa and hopefully do the last two of my 100 knitted poppies, then I have 100 buttons to sew on, one in the middle of each one
:):) Memo to myself : stop volunteering for these things
:):)
Have a good evening chums

NOOOOO! Lidls food is rubbish compared to Aldi. Their food ranked really low on the site.Oh that's really interesting Lidl is quite a drive for me, but if I have to go to get their food it'll make sense to do more of our shopping there too. Is that what you are feeding now then?
Tinypic isnt playing ball. It wont let me post pictures.:mad:
Yes, this is what i feed my girls. They eat mainly the tinned food now as they are losing teeth.
Well done MrFBO. So pleased you passed your exams.
Nannywindow. Lemon juice in water (i have to have sweetener in it cause i cant drink it otherwise). It dries the mucus and supresses my cough. If it doesnt work then i know a trip to the doctors is usually called for as 9 times out of 10 its turned into an infection either in my ears or on my chest.
Well hubby has picked up his new car... talk about a kid with a new toy.:D

I prefer Lidl to Aldi, Judi. Their fruit and veg and meat is much better quality imho. Maybe it's down t regional differences as we have some really good Lidl stores around us.
FBO, good news.
zThe jigsaw saga comes to an end - I found the missing piece on the rug that I had searched at least twice before.0
