I bought the five blade men's razor with an extra grooming blade from Lidl. It seemed to be quite good quality, but I kept cutting myself with the extra blade and had to throw it out.

I bought the five blade men's razor from Aldi. It seems more cheaply made, but it works OK and I don't cut myself with it.

A couple of months ago I switched to the Aldi 4 blade razor, and so far I'm pretty impressed, and haven't cut myself once. They also do a 6 blade head that fits on the same handle, which I have, but haven't tried yet - though TBH I'm not expecting much difference.

Does this actualy extend the life of your colour, as opposed to strip it out?

It certainly didn't strip it out, I used it during the summer when my colour lightened hair was also being lightened by the sun so it is difficult to judge if there was a massive difference.

My problem is the opposite and much more noticeable - keeping darkened hair dark!

Still no bread flour in Aldi - they must still be removing it for the summer, then.

Have to say, though, that the breads they sell in Aldi are considerably better than Lidl's so I've no great problem with picking up some of their own bread.

We love the Gourmet Beef Burgers in their brioche burger buns. They're currently doing Pork and Chorizo burgers too which are good. The chickens which you cook in the bag are brilliant too. Skyr yoghurts, both Passionfruit and Strawberry are half the price of anywhere else, I hate having to shop anywhere else now. To be honest i haven't found anything i don't like !

    New product in Lidl:-

Naturalis Fruit Juice Drinks with no added sugar - three flavours: a "red" one, Apple & Elderflower and Pineapple, Coconut & Lime.

69p 1 litre Tetrapak, not chilled.

Hopefully these will be an adequate replacement for the Light Cranberry that I haven't seen for months in our Lidl, though it remains, optimistically, on the shelf label.

The light cranberry juice turned back up at our store in new packaging like the Naturalis ones but still the same shape as the old cartons.
