  • Been gone for yonks...tried to get on with mobile and had to reapply...so now im just capitals instead of a long name, and am on new style, which i still hate with a vengence.also im sure when im on tablet that im still logged in on the other name.anyway...im here albeit in loads of guises,so more of me and salwag to go round...story of our lives, lol.
Hope you all are doing ok...cheers for some and hugs for others.
Me and her ladyship are still treading water, going from one crisis to the next but i thibk thats life so we are trying to accept and make the best of this round of reality...a recent family funeral reminded me of my lot in life and i was still on the right side of the ground.reminds you of how little you see of the relies, how you promise to keep in touch but rl always gets in the way, then you lose someone else and you renew the promises and yet never learn til you see the photo on the box,and the losses come thick and fast as you get older.then the older you get,the worse the loss, then you wish you were a child again, cos it was so much simpler then....
So you can tell im back cos im rambling as per.
Apologies for depressing ppl with my first return post.
I could also bore you with the continuing saga of my son but thats for another time.
    What am i like...
I havent got used to all the icons, emos for insertion so anything could happen.

Sarahdol....Not sure if it is worth having it checked by Vax...This is what it says on their site....

    MACHINES OUTSIDE GUARANTEE

If you are outside the agreed period please contact our Helpline or visit our website to see what fantastic offers we have available for our existing customers.

**Please note a carriage charge applies to this service.

Alternatively for a period of up to one year outside of their guarantee period we can carry out 'out of warranty' repairs on Vax machines. If you would like us to take a look at your machine, simply contact the helpline and you will be advised of the estimated cost of repair. Credit/debit cards are welcome.

How long was the warranty though? If it is a mechanical failure it is perhaps worth arguing that it would reasonably be expected to last longer under consumer rights legislation - no doubt someone will be along with a link soon!).

shortened URLs aren't allowed i.e the kind or URL that when you click it you are immediately redirected to a totally different page with a much longer URL.

They are the kind of links that 10 ways uses to disguise what site a particular deal is on so that you have to click their link to find out (which just so happens to be a referral link that earns them money)

The disguised links could just as easily redirect to a malicious page as they could a referral page and that's why they're not allowed on here
So doesnt that cover any link that you make shorter by just putting it into a word? Im confused, think I best stop thinking about this.
I.e. so is this not a shortened link, hence not allowed??
